She gently guided us out of our comfort zones while still honoring who we are, and the results were absolutely stunning. Hiring a photographer for our wedding was a daunting task for me because I absolutely hate having my photo taken and I get rather impatient when taking lots of photos, which was something I knew I wouldn't be able to avoid on my wedding day. After meeting April for the first time I felt such a sense of relief because I knew we chose the perfect photographer- she's patient, kind, and easy going. My fiance (now husband) and I don't take many photos, so we're extremely awkward and have no idea how to pose, what to do with our hands, where to look, etc., but April was up for this challange and was amazing at guiding/directing us. Along with being painfully awkward, it was also difficult for me to articulate what I was wanting photo-wise. April worked with me to hone in on the style of photos I was wanting, what locations we wanted, what poses to do, and the perfect balance of posed versus candid shots. On our wedding day she was incredible- she kept us (mainly me) on time, was extremely communicative, was patient with our families and wedding party, and made it all fun! Something I was dreading turned into a fun, quick, and memorable part of our wedding day! And when I say she was quick, she was QUICK. We were able to take couple photos, wedding party photos, immediate family photos, and extended family photos and were still able to attend the last 30 minutes of our cocktail hour. The photos turned out absolutely stunning. I have never loved this many pictures of myself, ever. April provided a sneak peak of our photos nearly 24 hours after our wedding ended, and she provided so many more photos than I expected. I highly recommend April and can't thank her enough for making our day so special and capturing so many special moments!

She captured our big day on 8/20/22 PERFECTLY, and made taking pictures of a large wedding party so easy and fun! April was at every big moment to make sure pictures were being taken, and she was even able to capture some really fun moments on the dance floor that I'm so glad I have photos to be able to look back on and remember. Not only were our photos STUNNING, but she got the majority of them back to us in less than a week!! I really cannot recommend April enough!!

April was INCREDIBLE for our wedding. She did our engagement shoot and our wedding and was so organized and knowledgeable. She knew all the tips and exactly what to look out for to make the best photos. She and her assistant were in all the right places and caught all the moments I wanted to be captured.
