My (now) husband and I decided to get married in New York City Hall – it wasn’t planned out, we threw everything together the day before the wedding. I called several photographers, and Angela immediately stood out above the others. Before I even hired her, she walked me through how the City Hall wedding process works, told me how City Hall has great photo opps (and it was clear she knew exactly where those were), and many other very helpful details. I was immediately struck with how communicative she was and felt great relief to speak with someone who so clearly knew what she was doing … because getting married, no matter how low key you do it, is pretty stressful. She definitely eased my worries from the first point of contact to even after the photos were delivered. She was always very quickly communicative via text and reliable, with an extremely down to earth, friendly and easygoing manner.

The day of the ceremony, Angela arrived early, before my husband and I did. She was super professional and kind. She knew in advance where my husband, friends and I should stand in order to get excellent shots, showed us exactly how to pose, and I was again grateful for her leadership. She took romantic shots as well as candid, fun ones, and I have to say it was a nice experience to have a photographer around - she made me feel a bit like a celebrity for those special hours. To top it all off, we got married at the tail end of December on an absolutely freezing day. After the ceremony, Angela offered to take pictures of us walking over the Brooklyn Bridge. I cannot overstate how cold it was, and how grateful we were that she was willing to stick it out in such freezing temperatures, all the while maintaining such a professional, positive attitude.

My husband and I were very fortunate to have Angela Cardenas as our photographer at our destination wedding in Puerto Rico. We had originally booked another photographer but due to a personal emergency she was not able to make it. Therefore, Angela was quite literally an "angel." She stepped in gracefully, got to know Jorge and I within a short amount of time, but more importantly, she scoped out our venue with a trained eye to find the perfect backdrops for our gorgeous photos. While the reception was under way, Angela even set up a station with her laptop to display the photos that she had taken moments earlier. We hired Angela with relatively short notice for our small, intimate wedding. She made herself easily accessable and was friendly, professional and efficient.
