We began planning our wedding in March for our October celebration in Cancun and were introduced to Amorem Weddings through a friend. My husband and I were doing a site visit at TRS Coral / Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres last year. We stumbled upon a wedding at the theater and were lucky to meet Lu from the Amorem Weddings team.

Seeing that event sealed the deal on the resort, reception venue, and external wedding planners for our destination wedding — it was the best decision we made!

From getting a hold of the resort’s wedding department & staying in contact with them (a challenge in itself as we went through several coordinators) to finding the right vendors who could bring our vision to life — Lu and Kumen were our right hand team and the read thread that brought everything together during the planning process and throughout the weekend of our wedding events.

Both my husband and I have type A personalities and I also work in corporate events. The trust we had with Amorem Weddings was vital in creating the most magical wedding, inclusive of so many personal touches and little details coming to life (some that we didn’t even expect which were nice surprises). We were fortunate to have over 100 of our family and friends attend and while it was a lot to coordinate, so many of our guests raved how beautiful + amazing everything turned out and expressing their appreciation of all the details that went into our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, Catholic ceremony, and wedding reception.

We also had Raquel who’s the most attentive bridal attendant that stayed with me all wedding day, keeping an incredibly positive attitude. She was so helpful in making sure I felt my best all day, knew when I needed a break, and even helped with my bridal party so they could enjoy themselves. Amorem also had their wedding content creator, Kat, capture the most beautiful video content from our wedding day that was shared during weekend. It was so special having Kat with us because we got to relieve so many memories the very next day and in the weeks ahead while we wait for our professional photos and video.

The team was incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond on our wedding day.
