Carla was everything that I needed. She answered all of my questions clearly and her response time was quick. She has a heart of gold and added some lovely details to our ceremony. Having her officiate our wedding felt right. Her friendly and kind demeanor made us feel like we had a friend performing the ceremony. She was the only 100% consistent and reliable thing about our wedding and that kind of reliability was absolutely necessary for our wedding. I reached out to Carla mid October trying to plan a surprise elopement for my now partner, and I on our anniversary - veterans day weekend. She got back to me quickly and was enthusiastic about being a part of our special day. From my first consultation call to follow up phone calls and emails Carla was nothing but enthusiastic, prepared, and flexible. Carla is a beautiful sound who is patient and honest about the process and making sure that no stone was left unturned to ensure the wedding comes to life! Now onto the wedding stuff…Given that this was a surprise elopement my partner had no idea and Carla wanted to make sure that my partner, of course did want to marry me and all of our planning wouldn’t be in vain, which I appreciate and it showed me that she wasn’t just about the money - she was in it for love and creating a space that exudes the same love we share, and doing this for the right thing which affirmed me that she was the right choice. We had plenty hiccups along the way from a having to change times due to having to attend a last minute funeral causing us having to change our ceremony from the morning to the afternoon which meant our original photographer wouldn’t be able to take our photos. Of course this made me beyond nervous but Carla assured me she’s got it covered! With less than 48 hours notice of the change Carla had found a new photographer who was also PHENOMENAL. And not to mention, it was supposed to rain that evening meaning our outdoor ceremony was in jeopardy! Despite all of this Carla make sure that everything was taken care of down to finding an alternative location for our ceremony. When I say you NEED Carla - I mean that! When it came time for us to marry my partner was completely blown away (even more after finding out everything we’d been through to get there) and we all meshed beautifully. I couldn’t have asked for a better officiant/coordinator/fairy godmother 💗

Our officiant was one of the last vendors we hired. I was originally thinking a family member would perform the ceremony, not knowing all that would go into making that happen.

On my first phone call with Carla, she walked me through how to make that work, and when I heard her talk about some of the other weddings she officiated and the personal love stories she crafted, just after asking questions and a few initial phone calls - I was sold. We were able to have Carla’s expertise and creativity to tell our story to our guests, as well as include our family member in a large part of the ceremony plus we read our own custom vows. Our guests have since said that the ceremony was the highlight of the evening, and we owe so much of that to Carla.

I highly recommend her services. She also instructed us which was the easiest county to file for a marriage license, and guided us through crafting such a memorable ceremony. She volunteered to come to the rehearsal to prepare for the day and came ready day-of - helping out with keeping special care of our vows, our family members reading and ensuring our license was signed (and returned) timely.

We also share the same name (Carla) so small amount of bias there, but highly recommend her to make your day feel personal, customized and one to remember.

We found Carla on wedding wire and arranged a call to get to know her. From the very beginning we could tell that she was warm and had a beautiful spirit. She has a different approach to officiating weddings versus other officiants that we had talked to as she adds a personal story element where she has the couple to write their story and also get input from other people that know us. Those stories are incorporated into the ceremony and our guests absolutely loved this as it gave them more insight to our love story. We got so many comments about how wonderful the ceremony was due to this element. She also did a great job with the tasting elements ceremony that we included. In addition, we had her to attend the rehearsal and she was very organized and kept everyone on track. The other nice thing is that she will file your paperwork on your behalf- one less thing for us to worry about. I would highly recommend Carla- she matched the vibe that we were looking for and we are quite pleased!

I just want to take time out to let everyone know how wonderful Carla is. She took the time to get to know us, which made my day that much special. She is such a positive and energetic person. Although she is very fun, she is very professional! I would highly recommend using her. She was on time and went above and beyond her duties. The ceremony was wonderful and I am so thankful to have found her!
