My husband went to David to purchase my engagement ring and we went back together when it was time to purchase wedding bands. During the engagement ring appointment, David spent time explaining the features of a quality diamond to my husband and the two of them poured over options examining each under a magnifying glass until they found ‘the one’. The shop is small but the knowledge and passion of the team runs deep. David is helpful and makes recommendations based on what you're looking for but does not pressure you into any purchase. He helped us think through the pros and cons of titanium and the other options for my husband’s wedding band and we're both very happy with our choices (he landed on a gold band). I never see my husband without his ring on and cannot help but smile ear to ear :) I would happily recommend them to other couples.

I got a custom-made wedding ring from Allie at the American Diamond Exchange. She is an independent designer and was very pleasant and easy to work with. At the initial meeting, she gave us several ideas for the ring and provided sketches and pricing. The whole process took no more than a couple weeks and the final product looked even better than I expected. Allie was also very flexible and allowed us to make changes and adjustments even after she started working on the ring. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for something unique for your wedding.

Lee is a fine jeweler. He designed my wife's wedding band from scratch and it matched perfectly with the engagement ring that I bought from the same location. The American Diamond Exchange has a great reputation and it shows through their service! Nobody's better!

ADEX is a fine establishment. They know you by first name and treat you like a VIP. They educate you about diamonds and they run a fair, honest business. The only complaint we have is the engraver/goldsmith who works in the back-- Rudy-- has messed up our ring engravings EVERY TIME (3 times now) without fail. Even when we wrote down what we wanted engraved on the inside of our rings, and showed it to him and repeated it, he didn't even pay attention and HE MESSED UP. Then he has to go back and buff it out, but it's never perfect. If you're paying that much for a spectacular piece of jewelry, don't you deserve to have them get it right? The salesman told us that if we wanted any work done to the rings, "don't take your ring to a butcher" -- however little do they know they have a butcher working in their back office!

Today my husband and I stop in the American Diamond Exchange to have his wedding band resized. Keep in mind I purchased the $6,000.00 wedding band from here for my husband. (And Have spent over $10,000 over the year at this store).There was a women who walked into the store with us and began to help us. I explained to her that we purchased the ring from here and we would like to have it resized. She started the sizing process by having my husband try on different bands. All of a sudden this gentlemen comes over, does not introduce himself and starts talking to the women who was helping us. I don't know who he is, he could have been their dog walker for all I know. Then he walks away into the backroom, in haste trying on the different sizing bands I notice that my husband band was missing from the counter, because their was no reason for it to leave our sight without my permission. I asked where is my ring??? The gentlemen is walking out from the back room and says: I have it. I said nicely...I'm not really comfortable with someone taking my diamonds out of my sight. This man lost his mind and told me...I told you I was taking your ring. What do you think I'm going to do with your ring. I nicely explained that: You can't take my belongs without my permission. He replied... I don't want nothing from you, what makes you think I want anything from you...I'm the owner get out. I don't want your money, . My reply was I'm 61 years old and you don't get to speak to me like that!! He replied... I'm older than you. And, I said then your old enough to know better and and should do better. By the way your customer service skills are awful. The bottom line is he's mad that his store is in a not so great part of town so he feels the need to demonstrate hood behavior.. When that man said he didn't want my money... I knew that was code word for Nigga. (side note: Yes my husband got a tongue lashing in the car for not putting this jerk in his place)
