Amanda McCarthy loves makeup. In fact, the only thing she loves more than the perfect eyeliner or pop of color on the cheek is making other women feel absolutely gorgeous. What started as a young obsession with beauty magazines and routine cosmetic experiments on her little sister finally blossomed into a career for Amanda nearly 10 years ago. She’s since worked as a professional makeup artist for top cosmetic lines such as Clinique, Bobbi Brown, and Trish McEvoy, developing her very own application techniques along the way. Looking to bring the beauty to her clients on a more personal level, Amanda launched her own business in 2009. She now provides on-location makeup services for weddings, print and other events, using a consultative, collaborative approach to make her clients not only to look beautiful but feel beautiful as well.
