We had the absolute best experience with Amanda and Mike at our wedding in October 2025! From the start, Amanda made us feel comfortable and assured us she could not only make us look slightly less awkward in photos, she could make us look great, and she more than delivered! Amanda was organized as she made sure to get every detail ahead of the big day and then executed it all beautifully (timeline, specific group shots, etc.) We also got the pleasure of meeting her husband Mike as they worked alongside each other, staying calm and quietly moving around to capture us and our friends and family throughout the night. They were also able to get in a few shots on film for fun. They checked in with us as needed and we truly trusted them throughout the day. My guests have gushed about how much they loved the photos they captured of them on our day and about how stunning all the photos are. We're so happy to cherish these photos for years to come!

Beautiful keepsake photos with an awesome experience
We hired Amanda for a package including an engagement shoot and the wedding day. Amanda and her assistant Mike have been an absolute pleasure to work with and we could not be more pleased with how the photos have turned out. Seriously, it feels like we got pieces of keepsake art instead of just generic wedding photos/documentation of the event. Also, Amanda was wonderful at communicating, flexible when the forecast threatened to ruin our engagement shoot, and helped reassure us and pivot when we had inclement weather on our wedding day (even capitalizing on it and getting an amazing shot with a rainbow). On the day-of she brought a calm chill vibe and was great at capturing candid moments as well as moving people/arranging group shots without being bossy or invasive. As a same-gender couple, Amanda was great to work with- she used inclusive language, was affirming and sensitive asking about our family's involvement/support, and also made sure to learn/ask about our respective cultures (we're Indian/Jewish) to make sure she captured what was most important to us. We would highly recommend her to anyone.

We had such an incredible experience working with Amanda Macchia Photography - we would recommend her and her team a million times over!
We were looking for a wedding photographer who captures authentic, joyful photos, is fun to spend time with, and is LGBTQ+ inclusive. Amanda and their team checked every box, and then some. We had a blast with her during our engagement shoot, and we loved all of the photos. We then decided to book Amanda to take photos of us and our wedding party at our bach weekend. They took photos of all of us while we made drinks, danced, and jumped in the pool. It was the highlight of the weekend! We're so grateful for the amazing photos we have to remember that weekend.
On our wedding day, Amanda and Mike were absolute rockstars. They worked seamlessly with our videographers (everyone thought that they were all one team!), captured every important moment big and small, and adapted to timeline/location changes due to weather without missing a beat. Our families and wedding party had a BLAST with them all day and night. After the wedding, we couldn't believe how quickly we received our sneak peek photos and our entire photo gallery. The photos beautifully captured all of the joy and excitement and love we felt on our wedding day. Don't look any further - hire AMP!!! You won't regret it.

Absolutely fantastic!
Amanda was amazing to work with! She made us feel comfortable from our initial phone conversation, through the planning phase and on the day of our wedding. Amanda’s personality, experience, humor and attitude made it easy to relax and enjoy each moment, which translated in the final images. Amanda captured every poignant and fun moment which my family and friends are raving about. Hiring Amanda Macchia Photography was the single best decision we made in our wedding planning. We will cherish these images for many years to come.

Excellent use of color and flexibility
AMP does a great job of using color, and or getting both great shots of people and the objects that make the day. At one point we asked Amanda and Mike to "just shoot" and they rolled with it, landing some incredible photos in addition to the ones they'd already planned and improvised throughout the night.

Amazing photographer and amazing person
Amanda is a joy to work with. Our pictures came out with so much genuine emotion because she's so fun to be around and good at managing the session. The first thing I said when I saw our pictures was "we look like movie stars!" because they were so glamorous and romantic. We're so happy she was there to capture our wedding. She was flexible, too - we split our time with her into a portrait session a couple weeks in advance, and the wedding coverage, which gave us more time to have fun on the big day! And she was endlessly patient with all my emails!

Amanda is awesome!
Amanda and her partner Mike were phenomenal to work with. From the intro conversation, we loved Amanda’s vibe and her style. We had been looking for a photographer with a more nontraditional approach, with more candid shots. For two very awkward people who hate having their pictures taken, she made us look good! We booked Amanda for our engagement photos and our wedding. We were both very anxious about the engagement shoot, but she made the afternoon feel fun and silly and made us both really feel comfortable. After getting back our engagement photos, we knew we found the perfect person to capture our big day. We were blown away by our wedding photos and have received so many compliments. We plan to use Amanda to photograph other big life events.

Amazing and gorgeous work!
I found Amanda while working as a wedding coordinator at my own venue. She sent the couple's wedding album to all of their vendors and I completely fell in love with her work. My now husband and I got engaged last November and I knew we had to have Amanda photograph our wedding. We purchased a package along with an engagement shoot and it was perfect! We got the photos back and knew we had made the right choice, so excited for our own wedding day.
Then COVID hit. We originally had a large wedding planned for this November but due to the unknown future of the virus, we decided to hold a smaller ceremony and reception with close family and friends this past September. Amanda couldn't have been more accommodating! We were able to change our date with her and she was so responsive to all of my emails changing photo groupings and timelines. She also would regularly check in with us, making sure it was known she was there if we needed ANYTHING.
Our wedding day was perfect! She made everything so easy and fun - we felt so comfortable with her! Her photography is so natural and she captures every moment perfectly. We HIGHLY recommend Amanda. Our family and friends are still raving about the album. We couldn't be happier!

Stunning and professional
Amanda was an amazing wedding photographer. She and her assistant shot 10-hours worth of photos for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the results. She captured the feels of the entire day, not only of us as a couple, but of our family and friends throughout the day. She gave us exactly what we asked for, and more. Our portraits are perfect, including the ones where we tried to fit all 30 family members in one shot. She dealt with the weather, space, and lighting as only a professional could. We couldn't say enough to do her work justice and would recommend her time and time again.
