I hate weddings and Allora made me love mine
I have to be honest: I didn't want to have a wedding. The thought of hosting a lot of people, figuring out a multitude of inconsequential details (like flowers, lighting, linens, etc.) made the whole process seem so daunting that I didn't want to have a wedding when I could just go to the courthouse. I know my idea is an unpopular one, but why get lost in the details when the whole reason you get married is to make some nice promises to the person you love?Sent on 01/15/2019
Enter: Erin and Allora Events. She made the entire process seem just so... simple, that I never had to think twice about any of the wedding details that I otherwise would have loathed to do. She was the point-of-contact for all the vendors, took care of all the timing of events, and on the day-of, everything went off without a hitch-- to the point where I could just focus on the day and actually enjoy myself. We were able to do everything we wanted to do on our wedding day, and it was ultimately so much fun. I cannot recommend Allora enough, even for those folks like me who just want to have a nice day and check the pinterest-party-details at the door. Do it right, do what you want, and have Allora take care of the day. You won't regret it.

Erin is the best!
Erin was the planner for our wedding and was absolutely amazing. We met her at a venue open house and really liked how nice and down to earth she was. I knew that getting help on planning our big day was probably the right way to go. So once we nailed down our date and booked our venue, we looked at wedding planners. We talked with a number of planners and Erin stood out as someone that was super easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and very responsive and helpful. Even though we live in different parts of the Bay Area, she was happy to meet with us to go over her services and what we envisioned for our wedding. Your planner is the person that you will spend the most time with in the months coming up to your wedding, and we are so glad that we picked Erin. She was always super supportive of what we wanted, very organized, had great advice, and was realistic with us about what would and wouldn’t work well.. She went the extra mile meeting with us one-on-one as well as with some key vendors. She set up regular calls with us to go over how we were progressing and what our milestones should be. She helped make sure we were staying on track and encouraging us every step of the way. Her advice and recommendations aided us when making final decisions for other vendors.
Erin ran our rehearsal and was the coordinator for our wedding day. She led the rehearsal smoothly, answering everyone’s questions, and making sure we all knew what would happen. And she handled our wedding day with an unmatched professionalism, running everything smoothly behind the scenes and checking in with us to make the night go smoothly and according to plan. Our ceremony was outside and dinner inside--and while we planned to have cocktail hour and cake cutting outside, she wisely suggested we move those parts of the night inside and made it happen with minimal interruptions to us. Erin is quick thinking on her feet, super organized, and had great ideas to make the night go really well.
