Alex was WONDERFUL to work with! I sent her a few photos for inspiration, and she went above and beyond to make my floral/candle/greenery dreams come true. We got on a call before my wedding day to make sure we were on the same page, and she understood the vibe I was going for even better than I did.

I had originally been planning on going the DIY route since I had fairly simple floral needs, but Alex's prices were so reasonable that I could NOT justify stressing myself out with flowers and candles the week of my wedding when she could handle it all for me at such a great price. I arrived at my venue and my florals were all already there, beautifully set up, and her staff also handled the flip between the ceremony and the reception. I would recommend Alex wholeheartedly, and I would 100% go to her again for any future event.

Alex was a DREAM to work with! My venue required a day-of planner, and I had no idea how helpful a planner would be until we met Alex. We hired her as our "month-of" planner, but she was so much more than that. She checked in about once a month before the actual month of our wedding, and was quick to respond anytime I had questions. Once our wedding month came up, she was so on top of everything. She made sure all of our vendor contracts were being fulfilled so we were getting what we paid for, and that all details were figured out before the wedding day. What I appreciated most about Alex is that she was so helpful in letting us have our vision, but also gently nudging us in more practical directions when needed. As our wedding got closer and there were tons of small decisions to make, especially about the timeline, Alex was so great in helping us figure out what was important to us and how to prioritize that. On the day of the wedding, Alex kept things running smoothly! Alex was a pleasure to be around during our wedding weekend, and kept the perfect balance of being available while giving us space during our wedding day. She also did our wedding florals, which were absolutely beautiful. She helped us stick to a budget we were comfortable with, while filling the room and keeping true to our vision. I would highly recommend Westerhouse Weddings to any Nashville brides looking for a planner or florals, and in hindsight I regret not hiring her for the full planning package!

Alex is incredibly talented! I sent her photos of what I was thinking and she perfectly brought it to life in a way I could only imagine. The flowers were so beautiful and I didn't want them to die! I just wanted to hold them forever. I know it was my wedding and I have a bias but I do feel like they were the most beautiful florals that I've seen at a wedding.

What my wife and I loved most about Westerhouse Weddings was the combination of artistry and exceptional rapport. Not only was Alex’s design for our wedding strikingly beautiful, but Alex herself was also a dream to work with. She is professional, cordial, approachable, and has an unmistakable talent regarding her craft. And, although she was primarily the floral designer for our wedding, I can also vouch for her skills as a planner, as she was present the day of the wedding to assist with coordination. Having her there was very calming and reassuring.

For those reading this review that prefer precise ratings, I give Westerhouse Weddings 5/5 or 10/10. My wife and I have reminisced about it countless times already - we wouldn’t change a thing. We are very fortunate to have been able to still have our wedding when we did given all that’s going on this year (2020), and what’s more is that we have this indelible image of that wonderful day etched in our minds forever thanks to the contributions of people like Alex Westerhouse.
