Incredible food, AND incredible staff!
When my husband and I were starting the wedding planning process, we knew that we wanted to have Mexican Food at our wedding because that is our favorite type of food in the world!Sent on 07/12/2019
Pig and Pie Catering not only went above and beyond making delicious Mexican food at our wedding, but they went above and beyond with their service as well. From a homemade guacamole station and a "Create-Your-Own" Quesadilla Station during cocktail hour, to delicious fajita and taco bars during dinner, our guests could not stop raving about the food they were served!
What stood out most to me though was that their team of servers not only served guests food, but they also checked in on my husband and I throughout the night to make sure that we had enough food and drinks, and they got us whatever we needed! Our guests absolutely loved the food AND their team, and I highly recommend them to anyone!
Pig & Pie Catering's reply:Audrey, You guys were so fun and your guests were a hoot. Those guys following me around with the Guac was so funny! I am so happy that you are happy. Good luck in life and marriage and God Bless!

Pig & Pie = Home Run
My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of using Pig & Pie as the caterer at our wedding. It remains one of our favorite elements of that memorable occasion and easily one of our best decisions.Sent on 08/06/2020
John Hamilton (owner) blew us away during the tasting session with the perfect mix of delicious food, a warm and welcoming personality, and noteworthy professionalism. Now, reading that, one might think that all that’s just part of the audition process or, in other words, that it was simply a performance to get the job. Well, I can attest that neither John’s food, nor his service ever changed, as that is precisely what we got on our wedding day six months later.
Pig & Pie offers a very diverse menu, so you are spoiled for choice. Incidentally, my wife and I had the good kind of trouble when we had to decide on what would be served at the reception - there were so many great options. Luckily, we were able to have Pig & Pie twice in one weekend, as my parents ultimately went with John’s services for the rehearsal dinner too (other restaurants had closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic). It worked out perfectly! Plus, my wife and I were then able to get the two completely different dishes that were our favorites from the tasting!
Without question, we know we made the right decision regarding food for our wedding weekend. Pig & Pie was a home run. I have learned that in order to keep the troops happy, you’ve got to keep them fed. Not only did Pig & Pie feed our guests (everyone was satiated on account of the generous portions!), its food enlivened their spirits and helped sustain a cheerful atmosphere well into the night. I’ve often heard (in good humor) that you can always tell it was a good wedding when you can remember what you ate; that being said, I will undoubtedly remember the food at my wedding to the end of my days.
If you are looking to have food catered for an event in Tennessee, I would highly recommend Pig & Pie. John and his team were magnificent and we were so proud to show them off at our wedding. They made such an impression that even a month later, Pig & Pie has come up in multiple conversations with family and friends recounting their favorite moments with John and his staff. Throughout the weekend (i.e. at both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception), John made it a point to seek out our family members, especially parents and grandparents, and make sure that they felt taken care of. Never once did it feel like our caterer was disengaged or aloof; instead, he felt like part of the celebration and he made us feel like VIPs. In my eyes, that’s the mark not only of a great food vendor, but of a great, genuine human being. Thanks again, John, for making our special day even more unforgettable!
P.S. For those couples considering catering for an upcoming wedding, it’s important to provide you with a little bit of additional context: my wife and I got married in July during the COVID-19 pandemic. John and his staff of Pig & Pie were very strict in observing safety guidelines throughout the wedding weekend. This included: masks, gloves, sanitizer (which was readily available), and appropriate distancing.
Pig & Pie Catering's reply:thank you so much, you guys were great! It is so nice when couples see everything we try to do! I just want to make sure your special day is Special
