Being together for such a long time (16 years) and finally planning our wedding gave us an excitement we cannot explain. However, planning on getting married in Puerto Rico, home even if we no longer lived there, made it very daunting for us and our busy schedules. We had met with multiple great wedding planners but were having trouble committing to anyone. Until Alexa, as soon as we met it was an immediate yes! She knew us as high school sweethearts and obviously that made it easier! But it was her professionalism and ability to take the mumbled ideas of this bride and mix them with the very opinionated requests of this groom and give us a perfect combination of both even on that first meeting what made her IT for us. She recommended excellent vendors that tailored to us. If she didn’t know of something she would still find someone who did it in a timely manner. She made it work with our busy schedules and our impromptu limited trips to Puerto Rico. Her team was top notch! To this day, if something didn’t go as planned we haven’t found out, and it’s been 4 months! We had someone bringing us snacks while taking pictures, making sure we were okay at all times and even telling me when it was time to retouch my lipstick! I had to just enjoy my wedding and the days leading to the event and that was it. She handled everything with such poise and even worked as therapist when the anxiety was creeping up. She had it covered! Run, don’t walk. You won’t regret it.

Alexa Blanco was the best decision we made for our destination wedding in Cabo. We had never been before, but Alexa had planned weddings at the resort we were getting married at. She had recommendations for food, and knew which vendors to reach out to. She also speaks Spanish which is a huge help when you're planning a wedding in Mexico! She is extremely professional, kind, and experienced. Her attention to detail is flawless. Our guests said our wedding was one of the best weddings they've been to and I know that's a testament to Alexa- she kept us on schedule all day and always took care of things when I was stressed - I never had to worry with her! Alexa (the owner of A.B.W.) has been a friend, a sister, a leader and a counselor for me since 1999. Yep, we have been friends since second grade hahaha. For me was an honor and a privilege that one of my closets dearest friends was the coordinator for the day I have been waiting all of my life. Fun fact about coordinating my wedding: I live in Florida and Alexa lives in Puerto Rico, and I wanted to get married in Florida. I got engaged in February and my wedding was on April. So I had 48 days to plan my wedding. Due to the distance between us (hahaha sounds like a song) she had to provide the partial service. And let me tell you when I say planning a wedding from the distance and in less then 2 months is not easy at all. Alexa help me calling all the vendors, making all the arrangements, help do all the tasks in to do list. It was an awesome and interesting experience. We learn to do so many things for the short time had and the budget I had. It was fun for both. Oh! And another thing, the only person that actually wen to see the venue was me! With my mom and my maid of honor. So, Alexa had to do the seating plan with my descriptions hahaha. Oh my gosh it was an adventure. She traveled one week before the wedding. Two days before the wedding I took her with my husband to see the venue. So, I am writing this review as a friend who loved that her friend of life planned her wedding but also as a (used to be) Bride to be: planning and making my vision come to life was the most epic thing I did with Alexa. I will not forget the day I said "I do" and I will always cherish the wonderful process of it. Another unforgettable story to tell. 💜🥹
