Her education includes a bachelor's degree in foreign languages and studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she worked for six years in European luxury stores. In 1990, she returned to Puerto Rico, where she managed Polo Ralph Lauren before founding her own company, AMK Events.

The BEST Destination Wedding Planner
We made two visits to San Juan to meet with vendors and Anne Marie did a fabulous job setting up all our tastings and arranging the meetings with potential vendors. She is great with keeping in contact regularly during the planning process and I often got asked if planning a destination wedding was difficult. My answer was always no because Anne Marie made it so easy.
