Planning a destination wedding from a distance was so fun and easy with Alexa! She really got to know us and our needs and was able to find the perfect vendors for us. She kept everything within our budget and we saved money having her connections. Even when pandemic restrictions threatened our special day, she made everything work out. The day of the wedding was stress free because she took care of everything. Our guests said our wedding was one of the best they’ve been to, and everyone got a great vacation at the same time! Alexa was communicativey and supportive throughout the whole process and we can’t thank her enough!! -

As a "Type A" bride who plans brand events for a living, I had very high expectations for organization and communication. Alexa exceeded them all throughout the process and on the wedding weekend. She is open, honest, and refreshingly straightforward, which made the planning process feel seamless and secure.
Throughout the entire journey, she remained the ultimate professional, always on time to calls, highly responsive via email and text, and incredibly attentive to every specific ask we had. I was looking for a wedding planner who could be more of a partner to me and be open to my ideas and requests, and Alexa was collaborative and amazing at handling conversations with vendors!

Alexa Alexa Alexa! Words cannot express how grateful we are for all the work you did to help us create our dream wedding day. You went above and beyond for us and understood our vision perfectly. We were picky in choosing our vendors and the energy we wanted for our wedding and you listen to us and delivered!
My main priority the day of my wedding was to be relaxed, enjoy my day and feel like everything was taken care of and I really did. Everything was so organized and the day ran smoothly. We even had multiple guests comment on how amazing of a planner Alexa was.
If you are getting married and want a planner that really has it all, you have to work with Alexa. Working with her was nothing short of amazing and you will leave this experience with the wedding of your dreams and a new friend!

The best decision we made!
Alexa Blanco was the best decision we made for our destination wedding in Cabo. We had never been before, but Alexa had planned weddings at the resort we were getting married at. She had recommendations for food, and knew which vendors to reach out to. She also speaks Spanish which is a huge help when you're planning a wedding in Mexico! She is extremely professional, kind, and experienced. Her attention to detail is flawless. Our guests said our wedding was one of the best weddings they've been to and I know that's a testament to Alexa- she kept us on schedule all day and always took care of things when I was stressed - I never had to worry with her! My flowers arrived in different colors than I wanted and Alexa worked with the florist to get it right! She even MC'd my wedding -

Alexa (the owner of A.B.W.) has been a friend, a sister, a leader and a counselor for me since 1999. Yep, we have been friends since second grade hahaha. For me was an honor and a privilege that one of my closets dearest friends was the coordinator for the day I have been waiting all of my life. Fun fact about coordinating my wedding: I live in Florida and Alexa lives in Puerto Rico, and I wanted to get married in Florida. I got engaged in February and my wedding was on April. So I had 48 days to plan my wedding. Due to the distance between us (hahaha sounds like a song) she had to provide the partial service. And let me tell you when I say planning a wedding from the distance and in less then 2 months is not easy at all. Alexa help me calling all the vendors, making all the arrangements, help do all the tasks in to do list. It was an awesome and interesting experience. We learn to do so many things for the short time had and the budget I had. It was fun for both. Oh! And another thing, the only person that actually wen to see the venue was me! With my mom and my maid of honor. So, Alexa had to do the seating plan with my descriptions hahaha. Oh my gosh it was an adventure. She traveled one week before the wedding. Two days before the wedding I took her with my husband to see the venue. So, I am writing this review as a friend who loved that her friend of life planned her wedding but also as a (used to be) Bride to be: planning and making my vision come to life was the most epic thing I did with Alexa. I will not forget the day I said "I do" and I will always cherish the wonderful process of it. Another unforgettable story to tell. 💜🥹 -

I don’t think I have enough words to express how incredible it was to work with Alexa. She is so easy to work with, so incredibly friendly, and made the whole wedding planning process so enjoyable. Not only is she incredibly organized and responsive, she is so fun and brings so much excitement to every conversation and truly wants to get to know you as a couple throughout the process. She surprised us with some fun additions on our wedding day of very special details about our life and dog back at home. As a bride of a destination wedding, I was very worried about planning things and making decisions from afar but Alexa made the process so seamless. I trusted her opinion and judgement on all of our decisions and she always had a solution for any question, problem, or change that we wanted to make. Not only did she plan an incredible wedding, she also planned the rehearsal dinner, suggested New Years Eve parties for the guests, and helped organize golf and other activities during our stay. On the wedding day, I was not nervous or worried AT ALL and was able to fully enjoy the morning and be present with my bridesmaids because I knew that Alexa had it all under control. Where do we even start? Planning a destination wedding for 130 guests over 2,000 miles away could have been extremely stressful. Alexa Blanco and her team took every single one of those stresses away!
From the first time we reached out to Alexa about her services through the weeks even following our wedding, her communication was amazing. She welcomed my husband and I as well as my parents in with open arms and took us under her wing right away to start the planning process. Her organization and flawless process leading up to the wedding were SO helpful, as she kept us on task and on time with deadlines in the 18 months that we worked with her. She helped guide us when it came to making decisions on vendors and wedding details, and all of her recommendations were on point. We had a blast not only meeting with her virtually, but also getting to spend a couple meetings in person as we were in town for planning!
Fast forward to the week of our wedding, and Alexa's service blew us out of the water! Days before, there was a forecasted tropical storm for the few days of our welcome events and wedding. She was well prepared and made herself available for any of our needs or concerns. She took care of backup plans, communicated with all of our vendors, and took all of our worries away in such an uncertain situation. Thankfully, the storm never came but regardless she would have been prepared to put together a flawless event!
Day of our rehearsal, welcome dinner, and our wedding absolutely exceeded our expectations. Alexa and her team were on top of every single detail, leaving us nothing to do other than enjoy our time and our company. They made sure to not only accomodate us but also all of our guests and their needs. Every detail that Alexa put together resulted in the most perfect day.
We cannot thank Alexa and her team enough for planning the most special day of our lives! We fully put our trust in her and it was by far the best decision we made in planning our big day. Alexa is a fantastic planner and an incredible human, we loved the opportunity to work with you! -

As soon as I got engaged, I committed to being a CHILL bride. I didn’t want to stress so much that the day after the wedding I was just glad it was all over - the experience many of my friends had planning their weddings. Alexa and her team made that possible for me. She was so organized and professional - I never doubted for a moment that she had everything under control. I trusted that Alexa would deliver an increíble wedding experience - but the wedding weekend was even more magical than I could have ever imagined! My wedding party and I didn’t need to worry about a thing - Alexa told us where to be, when to be there, had food waiting for us at every point in the day, and let us just have fun while she handled everything. Her vendors' recommendations for the florist, for the band and DJ for the caterer, and hand-rolled cigar were spot on. Victoria's & Mario's wedding was magical and enchanting. Alexa Blanco, I am truly speechless. Although the title of this review may sound strange, Alexa made possible a seemingly impossible day. My fiance Michael and I decided to do a destination wedding and get married in Puerto Rico. However, this wasn't your typical destination wedding. We were arriving in San Juan via Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas cruise ship and had only had an 8-hour window from port, to departure. To complicate this already complicated day, we also requested the planning of a small memorial ceremony for my fiance's father who was a native of San Juan and passed away in 2021. To provide an idea of the immense planning this required of Alexa our day included this: coordinating the transportation of 4 unruly brothers coming from multiple different locations to the memorial ceremony, getting 14 guests (including small children) from a cruise ship to our wedding venue, picking up the bride, and her father from the cruise ship, and ensuring that NO ONE saw the bride before the ceremony, getting all guests to the reception site, coordinating international marriage documentation, executing perfect photography with requested picture shots in multiple locations, and ensuring a smooth reception dinner. Despite every possible detail that could've gone wrong, Alexa made this day FLAWLESS. A last-minute change in cruise ship port could've derailed the entire plan, however, Alexa navigated this problem with such ease and grace I the bride, HAD NO IDEA it even happened until discussing it with my family. The devotion, organization, attention to detail, perfect execution of the plan, creative problem-solving, and authentic enthusiasm Alexa had resulted in truly the most beautiful day of our lives. She made every detail that was important to us happen and remembered intimately our requests. We knew that this was a grand adventure and a difficult day to plan and she abundantly exceeded every expectation we had. The day was flawless, perfect, and more beautiful than I could've ever imagined. I thought that she had already gone several "extra miles" to create the most impeccable day for us when I realized I had forgotten my (gorgeous) bridal boutique, and family heirloom at the reception site after our cruise ship had already departed. She responded within seconds to text, informing me she would take care of it, and send it to my home in the United States. This detail proves the immaculate, and pure commitment, devotion, and customer service she possesses. I only wish I could relive this day over, and over again. Alexa Blanco, you are a true master of your craft! I would trust Alexa with your greatest dreams. THANK YOU!

Alexa Blanco and her team are amazing. Alexa was always very responsive to any little thing that came up making us feel like we were in great hands! She is very well connected to a variety of vendors so we always felt like we had options to choose from when she presented us with information. The *best* destination wedding planner
I knew I needed a wedding planner to assist with my wedding in Puerto Rico and was overwhelmed by the available choices. After sitting down with my then-fiance, we looked at all the options and honestly, it was Alexa's top notch branding and social media presence that initially won me over. But that was just a sneak peek to the amazing service you get with ABW. Our introductory call included a mockup of our wedding colors & decor, and from there we were totally in! Alexa planned our welcome party (with a cigar roller surprise for my husband!), our wedding day, and even a private yacht charter for the two of us the day after the wedding.
The experience with Alexa & her team was amazing from start-to-finish. As a highly detailed & anxious person, somehow Alexa was able to put me at ease and trust her 100% for the process. I appreciated how weren't forced to make certain decisions - Alexa would let us decide from options available & with discussion, help us pick the best options for our wedding.
A total dream come true weekend & my husband has already mentioned how we have to work with Alexa again. Vow renewal in a few years...? You cannot go wrong with the ABW team! -

We found Alexa Blanco when we were 6 months away from our big day. Even though we had already hired most of the important vendors, we still needed someone that could help us with the organization and help us run the wedding day smoothly. Alexa and her team didn’t dissapoint. Few days before the wedding, Alexa made sure all vendors had been contacted and everyone was on board. Alexa also took her time to do a wedding rehearsal which was very, very helpful. The day of the wedding everything run excellent and all my guests were so pleased and had to comment to me on how everything was so organized. Alexa and her assistants were all super nice and responsible. I knew my day was in good hands and they definitely didn’t fail me. We had so much fun and got to enjoy our big day to the max without any stress at all which was exactly what I wanted. Thank you very much Alexa! 🙂🎉 -

Alexa stood out and I knew immediately that she was the one. Not only was she kind and personable but she was the only planner who truly and sincerely took time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple. She helped with providing vendors for each category we needed to plan for and also reviewed and approved of vendors I found on my own. Our wedding day was perfect. I decided to have a wedding 6 months before the day of. I was a little scared, since it was so little time, but Alexa took care of everything. Alexa Blanco is the best wedding planner ever
You need Alexa Blanco at your wedding ASAP.
She has helped me so much in the process of my wedding, wait.. not just my wedding, she helped my husband in the engagement, she helped me when I was getting ready for our engagements while I was thinking it was just a photo shoot.
Alexa supported, helped, provided everything that I needed in the process of creating my wedding but on my wedding day, OMG, she overpass my expectation. It was everything in control even though the weather didn’t help nor did the COVID 19 and she took the control of everything. So the stress never knocked on my door. I was truly happy, grateful, and blessed that God sent Alexa to help me in this process. With that being said, you need Alexa Blanco in your wedding, engagement, birthdays, every celebration 💜.

We hired Alexa Blanco as a partial wedding planner after having most of our vendors already booked. When we hired her, this was during COVID so we had to reschedule our wedding twice. We paid her extra as she requested due to extending our wedding date which was understandable. The wedding planner also agreed with our final wedding date and promised us that she can do our planning but with an another extra ridiculous fee. But anyhow, we proceeded after already paying her.
During our meetings, she did not come prepared, and the wedding timeline appeared as though this was copied from google. For example, our venue contract stated a one-hour cocktail which we are paying for. Her timeline included, a 45 minute cocktail. There were so many errors in the timeline. One month before the wedding, she was not responsive, and was clueless to what was going on. She did not abide by what was listed in her contract. For example, the contract stated she would manage vendor final details or create a detailed and personalized wedding budget document which it never happened.
During our rehearsal, she showed up on time which we really appreciated as some of our party was late. The rehearsal went a little smooth, but we felt rushed as she stated she had other commitments that evening. During the wedding, the assistant planners were not up to speed with our plans. Although Alexa promised us that they were going to be of the same quality as her. The assistant, Thais Vazquez, did not follow the scheduled planning. She sort of took a backseat and she was suppose to be the master of ceremony. The guests could also hardly understand her as she did not speak loud enough. Some of our guests were not aware about some of the activities that were going on during the wedding. Also, It appears; Alexa did not prepare this person to be an assistant for our wedding. The entire night, numerous errors occurred, and Thais just continued to stress us by provide us with wrong information while insisting that she was correct. Towards the end of the night, I asked for help in assisting going up to my hotel room, Thais promised to provide that help by sending someone. That someone never showed up. Thais was no where to be found.
This company that supposedly specializes in “destination weddings” are a complete scan.
Do not hire them. And also do not hire “Event Design and Shop” by Thais Vazquez
