AKBAR is one of our favorite restaurants and when our hotel offered us the option of catering, Akbar is the first place we went to and Vinay (the manager) gave us an AMAZING price! Significantly cheaper than the hotel's food and the taste was SO much better! ALL of our guests raved about the food and it was great because there were some people at our wedding that had never had indian food and are now HOOKED! The manager even came to oversee everything and stayed until the very end and came to thank my parents and make sure everyone liked the food. They even packed us leftovers!!! I highly recommend Akbar for your wedding catering (incredibly easy to work with, GREAT price, amazing food!)

Akbar catered both days of my two day wedding. I used Akbar in Baltimore and then also the restaurant in Columbia, MD (both owned by the same person). Akbar was SO flexible and accomodating for both days. For our Sunday wedding we actually had to scramble last minute for a caterer and Akbar gave us a tasting and finalized a menu all within 2 weeks. They were AMAZING to work with and the food was sooooo delicious. My family is American (and picky about what they eat), but every single person raved about the vegetarian Indian food we served both days. My husband and I plan to frequent the restaurant all the time now that we know the quality of food. We would recommend Akbar to anyone needing an Indian caterer.
