The look she created felt so naturally elegant, timeless and uniquely crafted for me. I am still shocked at how she managed to create soft textures to show in my very dark black hair! Aimee’s process is extremely detail oriented and personalized. She sends a questionnaire to complete before the trial so that she can get an understanding of what the bride wants. From the very beginning, Aimee was kind, informative, and relaxing. We talked at lengths about the pros/cons of different hairstyles and which might best match my dresses. She made me feel very comfortable and despite not understanding much about make-up, she explained to me her process and created my ideal look! Aimee was so sweet and thoughtful, I felt I even gained a new friend! The time I spent getting ready with her always flew by with lots of giggles and fun.

I knew I wanted to book Aimee ever since she did a friend's wedding. Her and her bridesmaids don't usually wear make up but Aimee brought out their natural looks without making them look like clowns.

Aimee was very professional and responsive to my inquiries. In preparation for the trial, she asked for photos of what I looked like without make up, my ideas, and example photos from my photographer. All of this showed that she paid special attention and customized for every bride. I highly recommend the trial!

I went for a romantic vintage look with a strong red lipstick. Aimee had a lot of fun with this and she was more than encouraging of this bold look. In fact, she talked about how a lot of brides play it safe, but Aimee is able to do bold looks and still make people look like themselves. I am Asian and Aimee is great with Asian skintones and hair.

On the day of, Aimee made sure to refer to pictures she took from the trial and not just try to recall from memory. I received a lot of compliments from my guests about me and my bridesmaids.

While you may be thinking that Aimee is a bit pricier than others MUAs, please remember that you get what you pay for. You won't regret looking fabulous in pictures. Book early - she gets very busy! The only drawback was that one of her assistants came late, maybe due to some miscommunication.

I love Aimee!! She's so sweet and talented! I learned about her after reading a wedding magazine that featured her as a make-up artist. I fell in love with her work because she's able to make a bride look glamorous yet natural. She's very approachable, professional, and responsive.

I had a trial make-up session with her months before the wedding, and prior to our meeting, she asked me to send her a photo of me without and with make-up as well as photos of hair and make-up that I wanted for the wedding. She wanted to be prepared when she met with me so that our time would be efficient. I loved how I looked from our session, and she took photos from that day so she could remember how I wanted to look that day.

On the day of the wedding, she showed up early to ensure that I would be ready in time for the photographers' arrival. She was also very flexible and helped do my mom's make-up last minute. My mom wanted to do her own make-up but I insisted she got professional help after seeing her the night prior at my rehearsal dinner. My mom ended up loving the make-up Aimee did for her as well. I also had my bridesmaids hair done, so Aimee had an assistant to help with them. Everything turned out just the way I wanted, and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. :)

I am based in Australia and was getting married on Phu Quoc Island off the coast of Vietnam. The one thing I wanted for my very casual wedding was to have my hair and make-up done professionally. Like all girls I wanted to look and feel special on my wedding day,

I had done numerous internet searches and was getting really concerned, traditionally Vietnamese wedding make-up is very heavy and that doesn't suit my fair European inherited skin.

I stumbled across Aimee on her website, and thank goodness I did!

We obviously couldn't have a trial as I was in Australia, Aimee was in America and we wouldn't meet until Phu Quoc Island, and of course I wondered if transferring $$ to an unknown person was wise...would she even turn up? I definietly just had to hope it would all turn out OK.

I should not have worried. Not only did Aimee turn up, but she did an amazing job, nailing what was the best look for me and controlling my crazy frizzy hair in extremely humid conditions. She also managed to make myself and my twin sister look different (a big call) and put my mother at ease who is not one to normally wear makeup let alone have anyone make her up.

Aimee was an absolute delight. Not only did she style my hair and makeup, but she also went above and beyond and helped us find a photographer as we were having difficulties organsiing this from Australia and knowing who to trust.

Aimee did a wonderful job for my hairdo & makeup for my recent wedding photo shoot on 5/3/2012 at Monterey Peninsula!

Two days before we meeting each other for the first time on 5/3, Aimee asked me to send her a photo of myself (with/without makeup), the desired hairstyle and makeup, as well as the outfits that I'm planning to wear on the day of photo shoot.

On the day of coverage, I wore a purple strapless dress to her studio which located in Milpitas. She applied the foundation using the airbrush technique which had created a truly flawless look. I was amazed when I saw myself in the mirror!

Based on my previous experiences with other makeup artists, I told Aimee to put more blush on the cheeks because it will fade away quickly throughout the day. I'm so glad that Aimee listened to my need :)

Aimee is also very talented in photography. She takes her own photo for her models. Hence, she knows what makeup will suit you and look good in the pictures!
