We hired Ad Astra to do month-of coordination for our wedding and are so glad we did. We handled majority of the planning but wanted someone to take the reins on the big day so that we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Our coordinator Dana did exactly that. She was in constant communication with our other vendors to make sure we had everything we needed, and always communicated any changes back to me. Our wedding day went off without a hitch! I was overwhelmed with excitement when I walked into my reception and everything was exactly how I had imaged. She eased my mind and answered all my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. On the day of - she was there for me every step of the way and fixed every issue that came up immediately. Maggie at Ad Astra was absolutely amazing. She helped us put together the best team possible for our wedding. We kept in touch for at least 6 months prior making important decisions together with her recommendations. She is well known in Nashville and helped partner us up with not only the best but vendors but also people who fit into what our vision was. Maggie helped design the whole space and our stationary items – the Welcome sign, invitations, table numbers, and programs. We loved it! The space she put together was stunning. She was especially outstanding the day of and created a specific well thought out timeline. For our wedding rehearsal the day before she came too walking us through step by step giving pointers that we all had no idea about. The day of she stayed behind the scenes managing all vendors throughout the day while we were getting ready. She was in touch with each making sure they all were understanding of our timing. It was so helpful so no one in our family had to worry about a thing. You won’t believe this, but we had a mid-wedding evacuation due to a gas leak. It was very serious and everyone had to get out immediately. Maggie handled with such poise and care while remaining stern but also very calm. Once outside, we were in shock but I’ll never forget what she said to us. We were outside in the parking lot and everyone was worried. She said this is the time to smile, dance, and be happy – let me figure out what’s going on. If you are happy and dancing, this will resonate with everyone around you. So that’s exactly what we did. The band took it outside, played on the fly, and we had a huge parking lot party. While this was happening, and everyone was uncertain of what was going on, she went around making sure everyone was okay and also contacted each vendor. There was a definite chance we were not going to be allowed back in so she also started calling our hotels to see if we could potentially take the wedding to one of their spaces. She was able to confirm a back-up plan just in case. Thankfully, after an enormous scare the firemen gave us the green light. Everyone was so happy to be allowed in and will never forget the “parking lot party.” Every single vendor was so accommodating and stayed late. Maggie and her team did as well, cleaning everything up and making sure we closed it all out.
We came from out of town, and her husband even helped watch our dog for the day/night!!! They have the most adorable pup named mopsy and we are so appreciative that they were able to care for her while all our friends/family were at the wedding.
I cannot recommend Maggie enough, she is not only such a kind hearted person, but very organized, passionate, professional, and creative. She helped make our wedding day the most memorable day of our lives. Thank you Maggie & team!

I was undecided about needing a day-of coordinator at first because I felt I had a lot of the early planning process down. Well, I did not regret hiring Ad Astra at all! Kathryn-Rose Weber worked with us and she was absolutely amazing! She helped take over a lot of vendor communication in the month before the wedding and she was always available for a quick email or text anytime I had questions. She was an absolute lifesaver the day of as well, helping to decorate and keep everything on time! I am so glad I did not go without a day-of coordinator as I would have been so stressed the day of and instead I was able to sit back and enjoy the day! She even helped flip the ceremony space when the rentals vendor mistakenly did not send someone in time to help and we had no idea anything was going wrong at all! Overall, I would highly recommend Ad Astra Events to everyone looking for a day-of coordinating service!

Maggie has been a phenomenal help over the last year during a time of chaos and turmoil getting everything in place for an enchanting, beautiful wedding. She's worth every penny and more - the return on investment in our relationship was HUGE!.

We hired Ad Astra’s Maggie Burns for day-of coordination and 2 months of planning assistance for our wedding. She was one of our very first and very best wedding decisions (aside from our caterer’s late-night chicken and waffle sliders). If you are someone who finds the thousands of choices in vendors and event logistics even slightly daunting, I highly recommend partial planning assistance. Maggie curated lists of vendors that met our needs and price points and then we made the final call about who was the right fit for us. She answered questions about logistics, negotiated prices and kept us organized.

In addition, Maggie gracefully navigated a global pandemic with us. For the eight months leading up to our October wedding, I was working long hours on the COVID-19 response. Maggie kept us up to date on event restrictions and considerations as we rethought and re-planned nearly the whole wedding to keep it as safe as possible for us and our guests. We scaled back from 150 to 25 guests, changed venues and altered many of our services. Then, the day before the wedding, our photographer learned they needed to be in quarantine and we’d need a replacement. Before I even knew about it, Maggie had already found a photographer to step in and was bringing them up to speed.
