Most would think that hiring a videographer two weeks before your wedding is a recipe for disaster. We can truly say we are glad we waited! Mostly because it worked out better than we could have imagined.

We got married on June 26, 2021. We first contacted Action Jackson Cinema on June 13th via Thumbtack. They were very responsive from the beginning. We set up a call and discussed expectations. The pricing could not be beat. Most videographers we found were either above our budget or offered very limited services for what was within our budget. We know that you usually get what you pay for but we will say we got more for our money than we could have expected.

We were promised the video within three weeks and they were delivered in two. We got a 60 second, 5-6 min video, and a fully edited 45 minute video. The quality of the videos was amazing. Our friends love the editing and how the day was captured. We get emotional anytime we watch the videos, even the 60 second one.

We were a same sex wedding and it was important that we worked with someone who was comfortable with that. Jackson was inclusive.

Before our contracted time was up, Jackson came up to us and confirmed if there was anything else we wanted to make sure was captured before he left. We felt that was a very considerate action on his behalf as other people would have just said their time was up and they were leaving. We felt that he cared about our wedding day being captured the way we wanted.

Overall, we would definitely recommend Action Jackson Cinema for your video needs! Great price, great service, and a lifetime captured and edited with sophistication.

I could not recommend Action Jackson Cinema more for a wedding videographer. He captured our perfect day the exact way we wanted. He was so easy to work with and gathered all his content without us even really knowing he was there, which was perfect. I was very nervous about not being able to gather everything or clashing with the photographer but he was amazing! We are so happy with our videos and the response we’ve gotten from them is incredible I will cherish them forever.

I think William is talented but it doesn’t make up for his unprofessionalism. Once paid he is extremely unresponsive and goes radio silent. I am still waiting for parts of my night that are missing and he hasn’t responded in over a month. My full video doesn’t have any dancing of the night it ends at speeches and even skips over the final speech. I have tried multiple times to reach out and have gotten no where.

I would strongly advise against booking this individual for any future projects or events. He served as our videographer in May 2024, and despite having paid him in full well in advance (in 2023/2024), he has yet to fulfill the terms of our agreement nearly a year later.

His communication has been virtually nonexistent he has ignored countless calls, texts, and emails. When he did respond it would be to extend the deadline which he kept pushing back. When he finally sent 1/3 videos we paid for, the video was poorly edited, appeared rushed, and contained multiple black screens and irrelevant shots (such as video of the floor). When I voiced concerns, he offered no reassurance or intention to correct the issues.

After nearly 11 months of repeated follow-ups, he finally responded with the excuse that the video files were not compatible with his computer, which is something that should have been communicated much earlier, and certainly not used as a justification for such an extended period of silence.

This experience has now escalated to the point where legal action is being considered. Out of all the vendors we worked with, he is the only one who failed to deliver on his commitments. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend him in any capacity.
