We absolutely loved woking with Achong Photography! We received the most amazing pictures! They took so many and we were able to send a link to family and friends so they could look at and download pictures too. They captured our day so perfectly! We had to change our date 2 times due to covid and they were so understanding and flexible. They are so friendly and we got so many positive comments from our guests that interacted with them. They thought of everything and worked with our other vendors to capture each moment. They spaced everyone in our more formal pictures in the best way. We will use them for all our other future photography needs. Pricing was also so great.

Andrew and Amanda made my wedding absolutely amazing. From the first time I met them, to our unbelievably amazing engagement photos, and to our wedding day. They captured every shot I wanted and could possibly think of.

Andrew and Amanda are absolutely incredible individuals who care about what they do and care about the people they do it for; in another word, passionate. They take stunning photos and took time to do a lot of editing that was needed due to the lighting and backdrops on our wedding day.

The only thing I will mention as a tip to future “to-be-weds” is to make sure you are specific about your wants and needs of desired photos just in case the day gets away from you, and it does! Be sure of what you’re looking for when you hire a photog (we wanted mostly candid and Andrew and Amanda were a perfect match!) and to be sure to communicate those desires effectively. My one mistake was that although we had agreed on majority to be candid photos, I wish I had requested a wider selection of “non-candid” (aka formal) photos in key areas, I.e. a full-length, straight on pic of bride smiling; bride and groom poses where both are smiling and that capture the dress and flowers well; formal headshots of bride and groom. I would also recommend photogs to be conscious of getting a good variety of the key shots most couples (I assume) would want since you have a better of idea of all the possibilities of photos and I went in as a newbie and didn’t know what I didn’t know to request.
All of that said, these photos are relatively minor misses given the astounding array of absolutely wonderful photographs we received and incredible care we received from Andrew and Amanda.
Overall, we were over-the-top impressed and pleased with Achong Photography and are excited to work with them in the future!

Andrew Achong is AMAZING! He delivers high level professionalism with a unique creativity I have yet to see others exude. In fact, when we were taking bridal portraits at the White House hotel in Biloxi, several staff members commented on the uniqueness of the shoot. They said that they see photographers in there constantly but all of them take the same shots. Not Andrew. He was laying on the ground, climbing on furniture and ledges, making you laugh (or in my case, helping me not be awkward) all to get the PERFECT shot. He definitely knows how to capture the moment. He loves black and white photos but, of course, is amazing with color as well. He shares a passion for photography that so many photographers have lost. You can tell he has fun doing it and that shows in his work. He is super flexible, efficient and accommodating. So much so that he was able to get my bridal portraits shot, edited, printed and displayed in less than a week before the wedding. Delivering the impossible! He is an exceptional guy and an even more remarkable photographer. He is incredible to work with and you will not be disappointed in his shots. He excels in capturing action shots with impeccable timing. He is super responsive and we always received our pictures from him so quickly!
