My husband James and I found out about Abi on here. We loved her photos, so we did a video meet up with her. We instantly adored her! She is so friendly and very professional. We loved the engagement and wedding photos she took for us. We booked her for the entire day on our wedding, and we are happy we did. She captured the essence of the day. Ever since I was a surly teen, I’ve strongly disliked being photographed. I would sulk when my mom badgered me to pose for a Christmas photo. When friends broke out their cameras at parties I would duck for cover, sometimes literally. When we hired Abi to shoot our engagement and wedding, I told her I was going to be difficult. I didn’t like how I looked in pictures, I said, so I resolved long ago that I would appear in as few as possible. (A warning to other men with the same attitude: Once you propose to the love of your life, you’re going to have to get over this.) Abi didn’t miss a beat. She said that she wasn’t worried, and that we shouldn’t be either.

When we met up for our engagement shoot in Baltimore, I felt tense and hesitant, but Abi’s relaxed attitude and enthusiasm for getting different shots was contagious. It was as if she was being constantly inspired by our surroundings, and delighted in finding spots with unique features or especially good sunlight to photograph us in. Despite myself I started to have fun. And when we got the photos back it was clear that the inspiration was genuine—they were terrific, and we were so proud to use them for save-the-dates.

Abi was equally amazing on our wedding day itself. On a blindingly hot day in July, she captured stunning portrait after stunning portrait, and moved through our group shots with family and bridal party efficiently, but not dismissively. Multiple people commented on how easily she moved through the different groups. She captured amazing candids and professional detail shots. She made everything feel personal and special, including her presentation of the finished photos to us. There are so many good ones we need a rotation because we simply don’t have the wall space to display them all.

From the beginning, Abi talked to us about what we liked and didn’t like about photos of ourselves, and about photos in general. She really listened, and now when my wife and I look at the amazing photos Abi took, we can see decisions that she made based on little things we mentioned almost a year before. I truly don’t think you’re going to find that in many people. And I don’t think you’ll find a better experience with anyone else. You already like Abi’s photos. What are you waiting for? Abi is absolutely phenomenal! She was so fun to work with throughout the past 3 years! She made us feel comfortable right from the start with a meet & greet. Also the engagement session was lovely and allowed us to feel out Abi's personality (which anyone can work with) along with making us feel special during our shoot. She was understanding when our covid wedding plans needed to be postponed and still captured our second wedding (post covid) beautifully! She'll make you the #1 priority from beginning to end! Hiring Abi Harte as our wedding photographer was a no brainer. We were so in love with her gallery and the way she captures a moment in such a bright, airy, and timeless way. I had the pleasure of getting a sneak peek at Abi’s work and her contagious personality, as a bridesmaid in another wedding that Abi photographed.

Abi made us feel so loved during our initial facetime call to discuss potential collections. I made it a point to tell her that my now husband and I are terrible at posing or modeling. We were notorious for never getting a serious picture. She reassured us that it would not be an issue at all – she was SO right.

We had our engagement session at the location that we got engaged. It was so special and we are absolutely obsessed with the photos. Abi photographed our relationship perfectly. She captured moments when we didn’t even know she was looking -- those photos are the most special to us. She truly is an artist. If you are on the fence about having Abi photograph your engagement session, I definitely recommend you do. It makes the wedding day that much more seamless.

Our communication leading up to the wedding day was just enough. Come our wedding day, I was 100% confident with everything she would do and had planned. Abi and Tyler captured every moment, just as we had discussed and better than I could have imagined.

Abi and Tyler made our entire wedding party, families, and friends feel so comfortable, special, and loved. All of our vendors and guests were raving about their energy and presence on our special day. Abi and Tyler are not just our wedding photographers -- they have become two of our most cherished friends and we love them dearly. We cant wait to continue to hire Abi as our family grows in the future.

Working with Abi was absolutely wonderful!! She was with us every step of the way and made sure our vision for marriage and our beliefs were shown clearly through the pictures that were being taken.
