The chalk wall at our wedding was one of the most special details. Austin went above and beyond with our vision and created a stunning piece of art for us. It was a perfect way to express who we are as a couple and where we come from! My husband and I both cried when we saw it, and it was moving to see our guests take it in. Austin was communicative, responsive, and so kind. Can't recommend him and his art enough!

My husband and I got married at the Stockroom at 230 in downtown Raleigh on 12/31/23. Austin did the artwork for our chalkboard and it was incredible!!! I gave him a description of we wanted and he went above and beyond what we expected. He was very responsive, polite and professional through the entire process. 20000/10 definitely recommend!!!

We worked with Austin as our chalk artist for our wedding at The Stockroom at 230 in downtown Raleigh this past spring. Austin was professional, quick to respond, creative, and his work is amazing. My wedding venue (Stockroom at 230) had a chalk mural wall so I knew I needed to hire a chalk artist. I found Austin on Stockroom's instagram and saw that he had done a lot of their chalk murals and loved the work that he had done so far. We were originally supposed to have our wedding on November 2020 but had to reschedule it twice and he was very understanding and accommodating about it. He was great at responding to my emails and questions. And the chalk mural he drew turned out even better than I expected!

I got married back in August and had my reception at the Stockroom 230. I literally sent Austin a stick-figure sketch of what I envisioned with photos of our pets for reference (silhouette of an oak tree with our pets on either side and our name and wedding date at the top). Since my drawing was so basic I didn't really know what to expect - I knew he'd put a creative twist on it. Y'ALL. This design was incredible. When I saw it I wanted to cry because it was even better than I could've imagined and it captured our pets perfectly - he even got the ears right on our rabbits. Afterward, many people said they loved how many aspects of our wedding/reception were so personal and I have no doubt the chalkboard played a big part.

Other than Austin being a creative genius, he was also kind in his emails and flexible - our wedding was postponed twice and he made himself available for all three wedding dates.

Austin did an incredible job making my vision come to life! I got married this past weekend at the Stockroom in downtown Raleigh, and Austin created the most beautiful backdrop on the large chalkboard wall. It included our names, our date, and the Raleigh Skyline. It made the perfect backdrop to our perfect day. LOTS of photos were taken in front of his work. He was super responsive to all my emails (had to reschedule a few times due to COVID), and he was so positive throughout the whole experience. I highly recommend his services!

I literally cried when I walked into The Stockroom (Raleigh, NC) and saw Austin's fabulous rendition of our vision! it was perfection. Even the sandwich board was 100% perfect and both got rave reviews from our guests!! The Board just made the perfect backdrop for our daughter's (and now son-in-law!)'s wedding and reception. If you need any kind of chalk art for your wedding or other event I cannot recommend AB chalk + design enough! I knew I wanted something floral for my industrial, indoor, garden wedding but I had no clue what would look best. I basically told him floral, Icelandic (honeymoon location), and geometric and he came up with an incredible design that became the center point of our wedding. He is very professional and easy to communicate with and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Meeting with Austin and discussing our vision for the chalkboard wall and A-frame sign for our wedding was easy and flawless. Austin showed us a few designs and even included a silhouette of our pet, and it all turned out amazing!

I hired Austin to do a chalk wall for my company's annual meeting. He was super easy to work with and listed to all my thoughts and ideas. His final product was beautiful and everyone was very impressed!
