Great service, beautiful location. We wanted a classic Austin experience, which this venue achieved. Overall, excellent choice.

I am a local wedding planner, and have to give this amazing venue some love! There are a lot of things I really appreciate about 800 Congress:
1) The venue manager, Andrea! She is awesome, responsive, willing to get creative with you and help you come up with ideas if you have questions about the venue/flow of the event, etc. She manages both 800Co and 7CO!
2) The space! This space is really unique and cool. Nothing like it downtown, where our list of venues is slowly dwindling. You can really appreciate the history of the place.
3) This is a venue that is a blank enough slate that you could literally turn it into ANYTHING! With a little imagination, draping, and lighting, truly the sky is the limit here.
I highly recommend having your wedding or event here!

We loved having our ceremony and reception at 800 Congress! The location is amazing - right in the heart of downtown with views from the covered patio of the Capitol to the left and the historic Paramount theater to the right. I loved that it allowed my family members from across the country to experience downtown Austin. The venue is large but doesn't feel cavernous, and it is a "blank slate" but has character and charm. We got married under a greenery arch with the beautiful brick wall in the background. After the ceremony, all our guests went out on the patio area while the inside was flipped to the reception. The outdoor patio was perfect for enjoying the beautiful fall weather and watching the parade going down Congress that happened to be occurring on our wedding night! And I have to say that having an indoor venue with a covered patio really eased any worries about the weather! The staff, especially Justin, are super accommodating, responsive, and friendly. Justin made time for us to come visit the venue multiple times with family and vendors ahead of the big day, and they were flexible with allowing us to do the rehearsal there the day before. The sound system is incredible - our DJ was very happy with it! And the bartenders and security were all so great and professional. I had so much fun and would definitely recommend this venue!
