Jane was, top to bottom, a joy to work with and a professional: she responded quickly to inquiries, she was understanding and patient, she was eager to know about what I wanted and was committed to achieving it for me, and she kept up a low-pressure, fun, and attentive environment on the morning of my elopement. I was at-ease with her presence and confident in her abilities, and upon seeing myself in the mirror after she was done, I almost cried it was so lovely! My face never felt cakey and the makeup stayed put through the whole course of the morning (the extent of my ceremony and pictures). I cannot recommend or thank Jane enough.

From minute one of our first makeup trial I knew I would hire Jane for my wedding weekend - her energy, sense of humor and calmness is exactly the type of person you want to spend the morning of your wedding with. I had Jane do my makeup for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding day as well as an event we hosted the day following the wedding. I am thrilled with her work and after seeing previews of the professional photos from the wedding weekend I could not be happier - she listens to her clients and I looked like the best version of myself. Jane is the perfect mix of amazing makeup artistry as well as personality - my family and bridesmaids all loved her (and the rest of the glam team) and it made the getting ready process throughout the weekend that much more fun. She went above and beyond with special extra touches - a blotting pad to keep in your purse, your wedding lipstick as a gift so you can have on your wedding day, and energy stones. I can't wait for my next event so I can have Jane and the rest of the team back together again!

Jane is a make-up (and real life) queen! I wear some mascara and lipstick no more than once or twice a month so I definitely wanted something more subtle and natural for my wedding look. Jane surpassed my expectations. The make-up she chose for me was elegant and timeless. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

I wanted very simple makeup for my wedding and Jane DELIVERED. I looked just like myself, but a little dewier and with better brows. Meanwhile, the ladies in my wedding party (all with a variety of skin tones and makeup preferences) looked killer. I can't recommend Jane enough!

Jane is totally dedicated to making you feel your best on your wedding day, whatever that means to you. I hired her to do my makeup, which was Audrey Hepburn-inspired, but I also saw her do my sister-in-law's bridal makeup, which was extremely natural--concealer and clear lip gloss. On both occasions, she did a trial, and worked with us in a sensitive and cooperative way until she got an understanding of what would make us feel most like ourselves. She's highly professional and a total sweetheart to deal with. I would recommend her to anyone!

I hired Jane for two days of wedding weekend makeup plus a trial. She was fantastic - I can't recommend her highly enough. Here are the reasons I loved working with her:
(1) Understood what I was looking for: I don't wear makeup and so I wanted a very natural look (no foundation, limited blush, minimal lipstick). Jane responded to this completely during our trial and kept extensive notes on my preferences so that she could remember for the wedding itself.
(2) Convenient: She came to my house for the trial, met me at my hotel for the wedding make-up, and came with me to the wedding location for touch-ups between photos and the ceremony.
(3) Professional: Always showed up on time and kept thorough records of the contract, payments, and wedding day timeline.
(4) Flexible: We had a few women who decided on the wedding day that they wanted makeup. Jane was able to stay for extra time to accommodate the request.
(5) Incredibly warm and supportive: Jane is so easy to talk to that she felt like a friend right from the start. The full wedding party loved her. She also went out of her way (without my asking) to take a few photos that captured some great moments. I was so happy to have these!

Jane did the makeup for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. And she was spectacular. I'd recommend her to anybody. She listened carefully to what I wanted, and made me a glowy version of my regular self. On top of that, she was charming, easy to talk with, and made the getting ready process so much more fun!

Jane did an amazing job on my wedding day. She did my, my bridesmaids, and my mother's makeup She was a true professional always listening to our requests and making us feel beautiful. I have very sensitive skin and during the consultation took extra time to talk to me about my skincare needs and find products that wouldn't irritate it. She was able to provide me with a fresh natural look on my wedding day. I was so happy with her services that I have and will continue to have her do my makeup for other events. I have recommended her to many friends who have also used her services on their wedding day. In short, she is a kind, fun, and thoughtful professional who can provide a variety of looks from natural to dramatic.

Before I even booked Jane, I knew that she was someone I wanted to work with – for me, personality is everything, and her warm, thoughtful and refreshingly real approach won me over as soon as we met. I knew I wanted to feel comfortable and work with people who would make the somewhat overwhelming task of getting ready for my wedding a bit more grounded and down-to-earth, and most importantly, fun. Not only was working with Jane and her team as fun as hanging with my best friends, but they genuinely made all of us look like our best selves. All of my bridesmaids resoundingly agreed that this was 'the best wedding makeup ever', which is not to say that it felt at all like 'wedding makeup'. As a woman of color, it's hard to find an artist who truly understands what colors and approaches work best on my skin, and I felt like I could trust Jane to try things that other makeup artists would have probably botched. Kardashian contouring and ashy applications were nowhere to be seen. Honestly, we all just looked like we'd been made up to look like the best versions of ourselves, and we felt like models. I'd never seen myself, my friends or my family look better.

Jane was so wonderful throughout the entire experience. I was super nervous about getting wedding makeup done because I know it's more than I usually wear - I usually wear minimal eye makeup. Jane gave me a wonderful skin regime which I still follow one year later. And she made my makeup feel so natural and comfortable while also appearing like a goddess! I've been waiting for another occasion to come up to have Jane do my makeup - of all the artists in the city she was the one that made me feel so comfortable and fit in with me and my friends perfectly. I highly recommend Jane and her team for your wedding!!
