Hello! My name is Whitney and I am a photographer who provides creative documentary storytelling for life's big events and small moments in-between. Whitney J. Fox Photography LLC and Whitney J. Fox Weddings is based in Portland, Maine, and I'm always up for travel! Most weddings, family sessions, reunions, and events I photograph are in the Northeast and New England. I cherish the important job I have of documenting your wedding weekend -- all the love, laughter, joy and fun -- and want you to relive all the emotion whenever you look at your album of your wedding story, whether it be at your 5 year or 50 year anniversary.
Experience
I have been documenting weddings 13+ years and create custom collections of coverage for all kinds of celebrations -- whether grand parties or intimate elopements, at an elegant barn, seaside tent, private estate, or family compound. I photograph weddings in Maine, New England, and beyond.

Best Decision for Wedding!
Whitney photographed our wedding back in December and she did an amazing job! We are from New Jersey but got married in Portland, Maine and she made the whole process so easy. We weren't able to make it to Maine until a few days before the wedding and even then it felt so natural and stress free. She's very thoughtful when it comes to taking the photos, who should be in them, and any sensitive issues she should avoid. Because we live so far away a lot of the wedding was kind of winged and she helped make the process run smoothly and on time. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did and how amazing the photos came out! The photos were available in a timely manner. She even made sure we had some ready early so we could use them for the small party we had with friends and extended family in New Jersey. You can tell she truly loves what she does and keeps her clients in mind when planning, taking, and editing the photos! I hate posed or fake candids and she made sure we had a ton of actual candid photos as well as the requested family portraits. I highly recommend her! Whitney will work with you from the moment you call to inquire about her services until you have all your wedding photos in your hand (or on your computer)! Going with Whitney was one of the best decisions we made when it came to the wedding!
