There is absolutely no question as to why everyone says that Bethel Bakery is the best wedding cake in town! We were planning our entire wedding remotely since we were not local to Pittsburgh and Bethel Bakery helped us through the entire process and made our wedding cake experience as easy as could be! When were were able to visit town 6 months prior to our wedding, we scheduled a sampler pick up and we had so much fun trying all the different flavors with our family. On the day of our wedding, we arrived to our reception space with the cake beautifully centered on a table and looking exactly how we pictured it. AND THE CAKE TASTED INCREDIBLE!! It was definitely the highlight to the end of a wonderful evening.

I loved my wedding cake from Bethel Bakery. I also loved that I was able to do a virtual tasting, and order additional round cakes to keep in the refrigerator in case was ran out! Of course, we didn’t run out and I got to enjoy my wedding cake again the next day.

We ordered our cake from Bethel Bakery for our 9/30/23 wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous and delicious too! We did pay a bit extra for our bottom gold tier but loved the look of it. All staff members we interacted with were kind and knowledgeable and took note of what we wanted. We purchased our cake separate from our venue, even though they were one of the recommended bakeries. This allowed us to tailor how many flavors and slices of cake we actually wanted. We chose three flavors and had them sliced and plated on a table, as opposed to served to all guests, to eliminate waste and allow for guest selection. Even our three tier wedding cake had two of the flavors. We enjoyed all three choices and particularly love how their buttercream is tasty and not overly sweet. Bethel also coordinated with our florist so fresh flowers could be used on our cake. We just celebrated our one year anniversary and were blown away by how delicious and fresh our top tier stayed in the freezer. I would definitely recommend going with their almond cake with raspberry buttercream filling! The chocolate cake with cookies & cream buttercream and lemon cake with lemon buttercream were delicious too.

The only thing we wished we got to experience was the in-person tasting. I went to my friend's tasting at Bethel pre-COVID and it was really enjoyable. The at-home/virtual tasting allows for more people to enjoy, but I do hope they bring the in-person option back for future couples.

Words can't describe how happy I am that I had Bethel Bakery do my wedding cake and cookie table! Working with them was the best! They really took into consideration the vision of my cake and made sure it was exactly what I wanted for our themed Phantom of the Opera wedding. Every detail put into it was absolutely amazing and everyone loved it! We had so many compliments not only on the design but how wonderful it tasted along with our cookie table. We went around to a couple different bakeries and Bethel had the best price combined with one of the best taste. Their team was very responsive with adjustments of size of cake and design.

We had a seamless experience working with Bethel Bakery for our wedding cake. At the beginning, we weren’t sure what design we wanted, and so they spent a lot of time with us and were so patient and helped us pick out the perfect cake. They did an amazing job with the design, and it was beautiful. Wedding cake isn’t usually good, but Bethel cakes are GOOD! We chose chocolate cake with a raspberry buttercream + European raspberry fillings and all of our guests raved about how good it was! We can’t wait for another excuse to eat another Bethel Bakery cake!
