Perfect Wedding Day
We had our ceremony and reception at Bella Sera in December and everything was perfect! We were very impressed with the guidance from Lauren and Andrea throughout the planning process and especially the day of our wedding. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and the excellent food/service. Perfect Wedding Reception Venue!
We initially planned a pretty large wedding reception in a hotel ballroom downtown. However, about three months before the wedding, we weren’t feeling confident that the event would be able to occur so we started to look at other options for hosting a COVID-safe wedding reception that would still fit with our vision for our big day. We ended up finding Bella Sera and we are so so happy that we did! From the first meeting with Lauren throughout the rest of the planning process, she was so incredibly helpful with answering all of our many, many questions and helped us to feel confident that we would be able to pull off a beautiful wedding reception with only three months to plan. Her organization and attention to detail was so appreciated during this really stressful period and I had no concerns that Lauren and her team would execute all of the details that we discussed to perfection!
Our reception turned out to be absolutely gorgeous at Bella Sera and we received so many compliments from our guests on the food and the service of the staff. Both my husband and I said it felt like we were meant to hold our wedding there all along! Bella Sera also gifted us with a nice basket of wine glasses, pasta dinner essentials, and a gift certificate to use there in the future, which was a really sweet and unexpected touch. We can’t say thank you enough to Bella Sera for helping us to keep our wedding date and have a beautiful reception amidst a crazy year!

Covid bride over here. Bella Sera was nothing short of amazing. Even before the pandemic. Lauren was top notch keeping us aware of any changes, things that needed done and setting up meetings. She was attentive to all of our needs and worries. The staff were all so welcoming and they made you feel like family. I would recommend this venue to anyone. 10/10 for us !Sent on 10/05/2020

She graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Hospitality Management. Shortly after, she moved to Washington D.C. on a whim. She worked as a Catering Sales Manager and Wedding Specialist at a local hotel venue for six years, which is where she fell in love with the wedding industry and all of the details that go into creating the perfect wedding day. Lauren has been with Bella Sera for over six years and is ready to assist you in planning the most amazing day of your life, giving you peace of mind to relax and enjoy the ride! Lauren has been married to her husband Dave for four years, and her first child, Leah Cathryn, was born in September of 2016. Andrea is a recent Indiana University of Pennsylvania graduate with a degree in Hospitality Management. She joined the Bella Sera team in 2019 as an intern and is now our Event Assistant. Andrea specializes in helping out with ceremony rehearsals, wedding décor, day-of-coordinating, and everything in-between! In her spare time, Andrea like spending time with her friends and family and soaking up the sun at Chautauqua Lake.

By far one of the best options for a reception in the Pittsburgh area, the food is top notch, the staff is great and the venue is gorgeous and is set up specifically for weddings.
We played a wedding at Bella Sera at the end of 2015. The staff was absolutely amazing to work with, and the venue was gorgeous! We are looking forward to future events with them.
