Mother, Christine Yvonne Horton-Holmes attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC and she has been planning extravagant and beautiful weddings and events from budgets as low as $2000 to as much as $10,000 for more than 5 years. Daughter, Alexis Nichole Holmes currently attends Meredith College in Raleigh, NC where she is double majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Design and Business Admisntration with a minor in Human Resource Management. Alexis has been working along side of her mother for about 3 years. Christine and Alexis have a personal and business relationship like no other, they are able to balance their many entrepreneurial endeavors as well as their loving mother and daughter relationship. Both owners have big plans to come in the next couple of years for the success of their wedding and event planning business, Simply Elegant Occasions of Raleigh-Durham.
