We went to Walmart in search of wedding rings specifically because or our budget. Not only did we get a good price on a nice ring, but we were able to put it on layaway for 6 months!!! This allowed us to stretch our dollars much further, without using a credit card an having to pay interest.
We will get 2 rings (a beautiful solitare for the left hand and an additional right hand anniversary ring) for the price we would have paid for a wedding set at most jewelery stores (Helzberg, Zales, etc.)
Honestly Walmart just got this new wedding isle. My husband and I got all of our invitations and thankyou cards from it. We made all our own! It was alot of fun cause if you get friends together and make a party of it. It is one of those things where whatever style you choose comes with the website you goto and it gives you templets that match whatever style you got. Then you print them up. They looked very elegant. We also spent atleast 4 times less then what you would spend to get them professionaly done.
Even though we only purchased a few things from target. I always shop there and I know that they only offer the best. I also had a girft registry there and it actually turned out that people actually do buy from those things. I was very happy with the outfit that I wore and the silverware turned out just perfect.
We couldn't afford a very expensive wedding cake, so we were shopping around at local Publix, Kroger, and finally Walmart. We were completely surprised at the deliciousness of their wedding cake and very happy with their pricing. The day before the wedding there was an issue with them not being able to find our order because another store had called me and told me they had not recieved payment (and the store that WAS doing my cake already had). But after searching and not finding anything they told me "You WILL have your wedding cake tomorrow, do not worry." Eventually they did find my colors and designs and the next day I had a beautiful and delicious wedding cake.
I would not have purchased our wedding bands anywhere else. They're beautiful and my husband and I saved a lot of money. I've been married for two years now and my wedding band is just as brilliant and shiny as ever! The staff was also helpful and knowledgeable.
