Our cake was beautiful!! We ended up combining several ideas from other cakes in their portfolio and the result was awesome. Also, the tasting experience was incredibly fun! Their cake is delicious, in addition to being lovely. We received a cake from them when we reserved with Mill Creek for our reception and it was a great value! They even threw in an individual cake for my Husband's grandmother's birthday since we already had the contract! What a sweet gesture! I recommend the hazelnut filling!

I dreamed up a cake and it turned out more perfect than I could have ever imagined! I was so excited when I walked into my reception and saw it! It even tasted wonderful!!!!

The Cakery did a fantastic job with our wedding cake! Our guest still comment on how unique and beautiful the cake was decorated! Not only did it look good but it taste good too!

We got married October 22, 200, at the Morton Arboretum. The cakery is the designated cake provider for Arboretum events. This was wonderful for us because the cake was both delicious and stunning. We had a small cake which would seem all the more challenging but Bob was wonderful and creative in combining elements of Fall Woodland motif with his signature icing bows and package motif. He is also available for individual orders and I will certainly look forward to turning to him whenever a special occasion arises. Our cake was included with our venue, Riverside Receptions in Geneva, IL. I think they partnered up with the Cakery. So glad they did because our cake was delicious and elegant. My fiance and I went in for cake tasting about 5 months before our wedding. That was a fun and delicious experience. He's the picky one out of the two of us, and he tried everything which surprised me. He said everything was tasty as far as filling and the cake flavors. We ended up with a 3 tiered cake. Bottom and top tier were devil's food cake with hazelnut filling. and middle tier was marble cake with boston cream filling. The cake design was perfect and matched our wedding colors exactly along with our autumn theme. We were 100% satisfied and will be recommending the Cakery to others.

The cake was delicious and looked amazing!! We had our wedding at the Morton Arboretum so we had to use their caterer, Classic Fare Catering. The cake was included in our reception package, which came from The Cakery. The staff at The Cakery were very accomodating when we came in for our taste testing. We couldn't have been more pleased with how our cake turned out!!

The cakery was great. They did a great tasting for us and gave us many selections to choose from. We used them because our banquet hall Riverside Receptions includes the cake in their package but you have to use their bakery which was fine. Our cake was beautiful! However the selections we chose for our cake ended up not being what we got on our wedding day for some reason. However we did not complain since the cake was free and they did do a beautiful design for us. However if we did pay for it I would have definitely complained.

Our venue required us to use The Cakery for our wedding cake. When we went in for our consultation we brought in a picture of a cake that I really liked, a birch tree that had pieces of "bark" peeling off. One of the pictures they had to chose from was a birch tree cake, but it didn't have any "bark" peeling off. We showed them our picture and asked if they could do something like that. We were told that they would have to use fondant to get that effect, but we decided to pass since you can't eat it and it's more money. We were a little disappointed, but in the end it wasn't a big deal. We were blown away when we saw the cake. They must have added little pieces of fondant to get the bark peeling off effect! It looked incredible and was a terrific surprise that I was not expecting.

Oh, and it tasted good too. :)

We ordered small cake and normal and special cupcakes from them. All are sooooo tastey, my husband asked them to make the special cupcakes with animal faces on it as surprises for the bridal party and for me (I got the hello kitty one ^^) and everybody loves it. Though the small cake we ordered didn't really live up to my expectation due to their limited tools to make such decoration I wanted, but hey it looks pretty and even better, so delicious ;)

We enjoyed our cake tasting experience and loved that the staff was able to create a cake based on several different designs. The final product was not only beautiful, it was deliecious!

My husband and I have very different taste in dessert, so we originally agreed to just do cheesecake (his favorite) and skip the traditional wedding cake. But when I learned that our ceremony/reception site (Mill Creek Golf Club) worked with The Cakery to provide the cake, I knew we couldn't pass it up!

Bob was very helpful and flexible - giving me exactly what I wanted (every bride's dream, right?). He was so easy to work with and the cakes (we had 3!) came out beautifully and deliciously! Our guests raved about all the different flavors!

I went on quite a few cake tasting and this was by far and away the best tasting wedding cake! It was beautiful and Bob helped make it special by suggesting things that made it perfect. My only problem was that I waited too long to book them and when I called they were full. I called back 3 weeks in a row to see if they had anyone cancel and by the 3rd call they just laughed and said they would do it. I'm glad I kept calling because it was the best looking and best tasting cake I've ever seen! Thank you Bob!!

The cake looked and tasted better than I could have imagined! They were very attentive to what I wanted the cake to look like, and turned out even better than I could have imagined. We received many compliments on the cake and how delicious it was.

Offered so many choices & spent lots of time with us. They actually were able to duplicate the lace on my dress in icing with amazing detail!

We just had the top layer of our cake for our first anniversary and it STILL tastes amazing!!!
