They spoiled us at our wedding! We got a dessert table AND a beautiful cake for the cutting ceremony. The spread was awesome from choco strawberries to mini eclairs. The cake was STUNNING. I was literally moved by how close in detail they got the design I wanted from a Pinterest photo. And it was so yummy- the pistachio buttercream was the best we had had. If you want an epic dessert table or cake that people will devour and talk about- Go with these guys! Not only that, but the staff is so nice and friendly. I have utilized Delish cakes for lots of life events. My banquet hall told me they work with a company that will supply the cake, but I declined because Delish was the only one I trusted for my special day! I went into the appointment for a consultation with Alicia and I had an idea of what I wanted. We talked through it and she helped create a design that surpassed anything I imagined. I was impressed also by the amount of option for cake flavors as well as fillings and the great price. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. I also added in a mini gluten free cake and my guests with celiac said it is the best cake they’ve ever eaten.

My husband and I had the great pleasure of ordering some goodies from Delish cakes at the Bloomingdale Market Fest. As soon as we chose our venue and saw they were on the preferred vendor list, we knew it was meant to be! Alycia and her entire team are so sweet and professional to work with. They walk you through the whole process of ordering and cake tasting with a breeze. Our guests raved all night about how great the sweets were! When we tasted our wedding cake; we were in awe of how delicious it was. We even agreed to order a mini wedding cake just to taste the flavors all over again!

We heard of Delish Cakes when we met them at Maker's Market in Bloomingdale. We bought cupcakes from their pop up shop and they were so good. We weren't looking for a wedding cake bakery in Bloomingdale, since our wedding was in Rockford. We did alot of cake tastings in Rockford and compared them to the cupcake we had from the Delish Cakes. Haha.
Let me tell you. It was a great decision. Everyone loved the cake and the dessert table was spectacular. I cant thank them enough. Thank you ladies.

We got a 3 layer cake for our Oct 2022 wedding, with different flavors on each layer - carrot w/cream cheese frosting, chocolate w/vanilla buttercream, and cinnamon pecan w/caramel buttercream. All the flavors were amazing, and we received many compliments on the cake. We wanted a simple cake, decorated with real flowers, and the cake looked perfect.

After looking at a ton of local bakeries, we decided to go with Delish because of their great customer service and price point. The tasting was very fun, we got to choose 6 fillings and 6 cake flavors and mix and match until we found the perfect combinations. We were able to do 2 different types of cake and filling (chocolate cake + chocolate mousse, vanilla cake + raspberry preserves) which was great! The owner, Alicia, made designing our cake very fun and easy. She also provided a free laser cut cake topper! We dropped off the wooden flowers the day before the wedding and did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day.

An added bonus is that we will be receiving a FREE 1 year anniversary cake! No need to worry about taking home and freezing the top layer of your cake.

My husband and I heard about Delish Cakes through a recommendation from our wedding venue, The Haight, and believe me when I say that we couldn’t be happier that we decided to go with them for our wedding cake and sweets. When we first went in and met with Alicia for a tasting, it was clear from the beginning that she knew what she was doing and still exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. After our delicious tasting, we sent her some pictures of how we wanted our wedding cake to look, desired flavors, and overall size. When it arrived on our special day, I kid you not when I say it looked exactly like the photo we had sent to her! Additionally, we ordered cupcakes to go along with the cake, and Alicia and her team did an incredible job of decorating them not only to look like flowers, but also put in the time to ensure they matched our actual bouquet colors. Furthermore, since Delish Cakes was one of our venue’s preferred vendors, Alicia worked directly with them to deliver the sweets on time so we never had to worry about anything on our special day. We would absolutely recommend Delish Cakes to anyone looking for a wedding cake, sweets, and anything in between!
