They spoiled us at our wedding! We got a dessert table AND a beautiful cake for the cutting ceremony. The spread was awesome from choco strawberries to mini eclairs. The cake was STUNNING. I was literally moved by how close in detail they got the design I wanted from a Pinterest photo. And it was so yummy- the pistachio buttercream was the best we had had. If you want an epic dessert table or cake that people will devour and talk about- Go with these guys! Not only that, but the staff is so nice and friendly. Truly Delish and Beautiful
I have utilized Delish cakes for lots of life events. My banquet hall told me they work with a company that will supply the cake, but I declined because Delish was the only one I trusted for my special day! I went into the appointment for a consultation with Alicia and I had an idea of what I wanted. We talked through it and she helped create a design that surpassed anything I imagined. I was impressed also by the amount of option for cake flavors as well as fillings and the great price. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. I also added in a mini gluten free cake and my guests with celiac said it is the best cake they’ve ever eaten. -

We heard of Delish Cakes when we met them at Maker's Market in Bloomingdale. We bought cupcakes from their pop up shop and they were so good. We weren't looking for a wedding cake bakery in Bloomingdale, since our wedding was in Rockford. We did alot of cake tastings in Rockford and compared them to the cupcake we had from the Delish Cakes. Haha.
Let me tell you. It was a great decision. Everyone loved the cake and the dessert table was spectacular. I cant thank them enough. Thank you ladies. -

Alicia and her team at Delish were unbelievable making the wedding cake of our dreams and working seamlessly with our venue and florist to deliver a stunning end product.
They were able to sketch out a picture of the cake immediately when we first met, then executed on our vision beautifully and most importantly made a delicious cake!
We highly recommend them for wedding cakes!

Great taste, easy experience
We got a 3 layer cake for our Oct 2022 wedding, with different flavors on each layer - carrot w/cream cheese frosting, chocolate w/vanilla buttercream, and cinnamon pecan w/caramel buttercream. All the flavors were amazing, and we received many compliments on the cake. We wanted a simple cake, decorated with real flowers, and the cake looked perfect. -

Exactly What We Imagined!
After looking at a ton of local bakeries, we decided to go with Delish because of their great customer service and price point. The tasting was very fun, we got to choose 6 fillings and 6 cake flavors and mix and match until we found the perfect combinations. We were able to do 2 different types of cake and filling (chocolate cake + chocolate mousse, vanilla cake + raspberry preserves) which was great! The owner, Alicia, made designing our cake very fun and easy. She also provided a free laser cut cake topper! We dropped off the wooden flowers the day before the wedding and did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day.
An added bonus is that we will be receiving a FREE 1 year anniversary cake! No need to worry about taking home and freezing the top layer of your cake. -

Obviously this wedding had a lot of ups and downs and multiple wedding date changes. So for a vendor to remember exactly how you wanted your wedding cake from almost over a year ago and make it look so beautiful is an amazing vendor to me. But not only that - EVERYONE loved the cake. We actually escaped the party - to go enjoy the cake. WOW - I am not a cake person but ate EVERY piece of that slice. Thank you for making my wedding cake dreams come true and making it taste SOOOOOOOO GOOOD! I truly appreciate it - and you have a life long customer for all my occasions from us! -

These guys were the vendor for my venue at Crowne Plaza. Our tasting was absolutely wonderful. Alicia was super kind and professional. The cake was absolutely delicious. I just wish we would have kept it. Lol. the shop is small but its adorable. Their cakes and cupcakes are delicious and rich. I recommend these guys for cakes and cupcakes!! -

My husband and I wanted a rice krispy cake for our November wedding and Delish Cakes delivered! Our cake was amazing! SO delicious and was still fresh DAYS after the wedding! It looked amazing and Alicia worked with us from the beginning to create our dream cake. In addition to our rice krispy cake, we had delicious sheet cakes to serve to the guests and individual rice krispies for everyone. Great taste, great quality, great service, great prices. I could not be happier with how everything turned out! Will be going to Delish Cakes for all my dessert needs from now on! Thank you! -

My cake from Delish was so amazing. It was so beautiful and it was everything I envisioned. We received so many compliments on our cake. I was not the biggest fan of the taste, but I should have tried more flavors at our cake tasting. I think that I was indecisive about flavor because we had a sweets table and I was not sure what flavor would fit in. I should have just gone with the flavor I liked the best. Even though I didn't love the taste, it was so beautiful and was everything I could have asked for and SO many of our guests complimented the flavors! -

I used this cake vendor because they were included in our venue package. I was happy with the fact that they were able to make what we were looking for. We did a non traditional cake. We went for the “naked” look, so no fondant, just a light buttercream on the outside. The venue provided the cake and any addition expenses for extra decor, add one etc were at my expense. So the price below is only what I paid, not the cost of the whole cake.
When the cake arrived at the venue I am glad that I was there before all the guests. The cake look amazing until I realized they used the wrong initials of me and my husband. I was livid! My coordinator at the venue was able to contact them and they brought a new banner to replace the incorrect one. However such a small detail should not have been unnoticed.
