Just back from a small honeymoon ( the real one is coming in May) I have to say Tamsen Photography was the best choice we could have made to to take our wedding photos. She stayed in our budget,was fast, dressed beautiful,and was a lot of fun to work with. We got our DVD today and our photos are so much more then I could have hoped for. I can't wait to get them printed this week. We had a small wedding and and we only had 80 guests. Tamsen spent 7 hours with us and she gave so much of herself and we have the photos to prove it.... If you are looking for a outstanding wedding photographer then look no more. In my book Tamsen is the best.

Tamsen photography was such an awesome addition to our special day. We now have all of our memories to look back on. People always told me to cherish every second cause the day will fly by. I didn't believe it until the day came. There were so moments that I didn't even know was happening until my pictures came. Tamsen caght all the moments I wanted to save for a lifetime. Me and my partner went through the pictures and got to relive the day all over again. We laughed and teared up. When ever I think about our day I can go back and relive it anytime I want. Thank you so much Tamsen. I will definitely recommend her to anyone.

We came to Tamsen almost a year ago with a tight budget and discouraged hopes. Many of the other photographers we had consulted with quoted prices far outside what we were able to pay for, and were unwilling to negotiate.

When we met with Tamsen, we found her warm, welcoming, and willing to meet us where our budget stood. The best part was that when we got our engagement pictures back, we realized we didn’t have to sacrifice one iota of quality. The wedding photos turned out just as beautifully—we’re so happy! Her professionalism and artistic abilities are commendable and we truly felt taken care of before, during, and after our wedding.

We had been looking for a photographer the right photographer for awhile.I was in a friends wedding and she went on and on about her photographer. The day of the wedding I watched her work she always had a smile on her face and she did more then take photos she helped dress the bride and had us together and ready for photos in no time....Well I knew she was the one. I can no believe how smooth the wedding photos went and how fast she was. Our moms loved her because she was always making sure they looked good and they had lip stick and no straps were sticking out.s our photos are so beautiful and a lot of fun ones as well..... We love Tamsen and will recommend her to all our friends. She knows her job.

I was suppose to have my wedding July 29 2010, but things came up and I had to wait till July 30 2011. I let Tamsen know what was going on, and she was so sweet. She was not concern about the money she just wanted to know that my Husband and I where ok. When I was ready to have my wedding her prices where very affordable, we had a small budget.
Tamsen and her assistant Jay where so much fun to work with, and very professional. I got to preview some of the photos and they came out really nice. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures.

Tamsen Photography is one of best photography companies I have ever worked with. Tamsen knows a good picture when she see it. It made me feel like that picture was meant just for me and the memories will live on forever. She put me at ease by showing up early and listening to just what I wanted done. The special pictures I requested was taken even more beautiful than I expected. She had a way of making me feel like a princess on my special day. Tamsen, I will never forget the day you took my wedding and caputred special moments of my magical evening and turned them into memories for a life time.

Our wedding was March 26,2011 in Long Beach at the Reef. I had my meeting with Tamsen last June and I knew right away she was our photographer. We had a beautiful engagement shoot with her in Sept. And she made it fun and easy. The photos were just what I wanted and more. Tamsen was 1 hr early on my wedding day and she worked an extra 2 hrs. And did not charge us overtime. My dad wanted to tip her but she said to add it to our money dance to use for our honeymoon. When we got our photos back I was blown away, they were better then I could have hoped for. Tamsen is a true master at her craft. She is very easy going and makes your day smooth and easy. I only wished I could say the same for a few of my other venders. I would recommend her to any bride. And I know she will be this families photographer for life.

She was able to capture all of the moments I had envisioned plus she added an amazing energy to the entire wedding ceremony and party. Thank you Tamsen for making it so memorable. I can't express my happiness and gratefulness.

Tamsen Photography did the photography for my wedding on 9/18/10, gave me CDs with all the photos, but when we requested the leather bound photo album in August of 2011, she told us she would send the photos to the lab so that the album could be made and she has not gotten back to us since. To this day, we have no photo album, which we paid her for. She has not responded to our emails or messages for the past 4 months. Her caretaker told us she was in the hospital since November 2011. I really wonder how she was in the hospital and how she did the photography for the wedding for which the below testimonial was left which is dated 1/8/12. I can't believe she is lying to us and giving us the run around. I would never recommend her. I was nothing but nice to Tamsen and patient with her and she has burned me. I want my leather bound wedding photo album that I PAID FOR and I want it NOW. I hope she reads this review so that she knows I am serious and I want what she owes me. And that is all that I want.

TAMSEN ARABI of TAMSEN PHOTOGRAPHY WILL NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU PAY HER FOR! My wedding was 1 year and 6 months ago and I still have no wedding photo album! She has been avoiding my many calls, voice mails, and emails for the PAST 4 MONTHS! Even a certified letter I sent her came back to me un-deliverable.
She claims she is sick and in the hospital, but I found out she just did the photography for a wedding in January 2012 which proves she has been lying to me. I don't deserve this!
She is a liar and is very unprofessional. She hired some second rate photographer for my wedding and the guy didn't even get the COLOR on his camera right which resulted in some of my pictures being too orange in color!
ALL I WANT IS MY PHOTO ALBUMS - 3 OF THEM THAT I PAID FOR! IT IS VERY SAD TO HAVE HAD A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING AND NO LEATHER BOUND ALBUM TO SHOW FOR IT!

Tamsen is a outstanding photographer. I am so happy with her work, she gets the job done and has fun at the same time. I have been a bridesmaid in the past and the other photographers were slow and some were very rude. Tamsen is a joy to work with and she knows how to make people relax. She was fast did not waste time and was very up front. We loved our engagement photos and were blowen away with our wedding photos.Bubba my little Yorke just loved her and he is a real mammas boy,but he took to her right away. This is a true artist and Master Photographer.When I look at my beautiful album I still get tears. Tamsen has also done my sisters wedding and she is just as happy. She shot our family portrait this past Christmas and my mom and dad were just as happy with the big beautiful canvas over their fireplace. We have recommeded her to friends and everyone has been happy. Please check her out you will not be sorry.

I paid for my 3 leather bound wedding albums and it has been 1 year and 6 months from my wedding and still no wedding albums! I have tried to contact her for the past 4 months and she will not return my calls, voice-mails, emails, etc. She has been giving me the run-around for 4 months and I don't understand why.
All I want is my photo album, but she is ignoring me. It is very sad to have had a beautiful wedding and no wedding photo album to show for it.

Tamsen took our engagement photos and was scheduled to take our wedding day photos. Our engagement photos came out lovely and she did a nice job of capturing the sunset. However, she was sick on our wedding day, and she let us know that only 3 DAYS prior to our wedding, so that was unfortunate. Despite the short notice, we were happy with her professionalism in helping us find and securing a different photographer, Rafael, to come and photograph our wedding. We had already paid our money in full to Tamsen at that point and I have to admit, we were completely surprised and wish we did not have to deal with that so last minute, especially since we were not the only wedding that was affected (based on other reviews) and I don't understand why we only got 3 days notice when a wedding 2 weeks earlier was also cancelled. We hit a few other bumps in the road...it took 9 months to get our coffee table book, and I received an unexpected message from Wedding Wire about 1 year later stating that the vendor was disputing my review and stated she never worked with me, so after providing proof, my review was put back up. Up until that point, I was still willing to work with her again and/or recommend her to others. I no longer would.

PROS: The packages she offers are very competitively-priced. She is also very responsive until you pay her in full.

CONS: After you pay in full, any e-mail responses you get will be short, yes/no type responses and not always timely. I would also suggest that you add post office delivery confirmation to anything you mail to her, to confirm and track anything you mail.

P.S. I didn't deduct points for the emergency medical issue she had that affected her not being able to come on our wedding day, because that would not be fair. My review is simply of the overall experience we had with her.

Although Tamsen did not actually shoot my wedding due to some unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, I must write a glowing review for her. Due to some health concerns, she was unable to come and photograph my wedding, but she sent her colleague, Raphael, instead. He was a great photographer and I thank my lucky stars each day that she had the professionalism to find us a photographer on such short notice!! Tamsen did our engagement pictures, which turned out beautifully. She is such a pleasure to work with and I hope to work with her in the future. She will be a great asset in your wedding. You could not ask for a more talented and caring photographer!
