Loved Horatio! I emailed a few wedding photographers when I was doing research; Horatio was the first to respond and was quick to respond to all communications thereafter. He showed up right on time at our hotel on the day of the wedding (we even moved the ceremony up an hour due to the weather), and battled the gale-force winds with us on the beach that day. Normally, I hate having my picture taken, but Horatio is very relaxed and makes you feel relaxed too. I feel like I got a good sense of his personality when reading his website, and his pictures were beautiful. Those were ultimately the reasons I chose him and I'm glad I did. I won't see the pictures for a few weeks, but I'm sure they are fantastic!

Horatio is seriously awesome. We really can't say enough about him. My biggest concern for my wedding was finding and hiring the best photographer. When he came up to Tallahassee to shoot our engagement session at our alma mater, we knew we had picked the right photographer. He has a wonderful personality, is professional, and captures amazing images. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. When it was storming for my outdoor wedding, just knowing Horatio would be there to make our makeshift venue look beautiful on film was a calming influence. Part of the reason our photos turned out so well was because of how much fun he is to shoot with. He is the only person who has ever shot a professional photo of my husband ACTUALLY smiling. We feel that the photos he took truly represent who we are as a couple. My friends loved the photo booth! If you're considering hiring someone else, don't. Hire Studio Four, you absolutely will have the best experience and you'll love the pictures.

While planning a destination wedding on the beach, one of the most challenging aspects of the entire process was finding a fabulous photographer that could capture the true heart and meaning of our wedding through their photos. After countless hours of online research and a few in person interviews with other photographers (who obviously didn't meet my expectations), I stumbled upon Horatio's website. After reviewing his portfolio I knew without a doubt he was who I wanted to photograph our wedding and our initial meeting just solidified the deal! Having just received the photos from our wedding, I honestly know I made the best decision of my life by hiring Studio Four Photography! Horatio and Veronica captured EVERY tiny detail of our wedding, going above and beyond my expectations, which obviously were high to begin with :) Furthermore, many of our guests commented after the wedding that they didn't even realize we had a photographer....just what I was going for! I always hated attending weddings where the photographer is obnoxious looking and always in the way making people pose...how silly!
That being said, if you having any doubt in your mind, get over it and hire Studio Four! They will without a doubt provide amazing and exceptional quality service and provide you with some of the most beautiful pictures that truly capture the heart and meaning of your special day! Jose, our Studio Four Photographer, was absolutely awesome! He was very attentive, had great ideas for photos, listened to our requests but also kept us on track. He had a very fun and pleasant demeanor and was extremely professional. Although we have not received our pictures back (it's only been 10 days since the wedding) I am more than confident that he took amazing pictures and did a job well done. We were so pleased with our choice to hire Studio Four Photography for our wedding pictures!

If you are considering Horatio as your wedding photographer - HIRE HIM!!! Horatio is friendly, easy to work with and a true professional. Horatio was able to capture every special moment of our big day. He also made an effort to photograph the smaller things that made the wedding “ours”. My Mom and I did a lot of D.I.Y. projects and I was worried Horatio wouldn't get shots of them but he did!!!
As you can tell from his website Horatio knows how to use a camera. He uses lighting and angles to obtain the perfect shots that create timeless photos. If you hire him you will NOT be disappointed!!!

If you want the best photographer out there, you need to go with Horatio at Studio Four!! My husband is an artist and so picky and fell in love with their work! You will not be disapointed!!

The first time I met Horatio, he showed my Mom and I the most beautiful (yet not "boring") wedding pictures I could have imagined. My Mom was in tears from the beauty, I was in tears from Horatio... He is HILARIOUS!!! Just the type of guy you want with you all day on your wedding day; I don't think there's any way that you could have jitters with him by your side.

When I called him with the idea for our engagement photos, he yawned. He said we could do it, sure, but we were too "rad" (it's not lame when he says that word!!) for boring pictures in a field. He sent me back to the drawing board. We settled on the Sarasota Architectural Salvage Yard for the pictures; along with our tandem bike. Then Horatio called. "Find a classic car, would you?" We found ourselves a black 1950s Lincoln Continental and shot with that as the sun went down. Horatio blew my mind. I have never looked at a picture and just stared at it without finding something wrong.

Horatio captured the offbeat, silly vibe of the Mister and I, while making sure that our photos were classicly beautiful.

He made us both feel so comfortable during the entire shoot.

On our wedding day, he brought laughter and stress-relief into the room just as Mom needed it. By his side was his lovely wife, Veronica, who shot with him: they're an amazing team. Horatio snapped an amazing picture and texted it to me during the ceremony, so I immediately had a picture to hold me over!

He promised me during our first meeting "you won't remember seeing me, so you'll think I didn't get any pictures, but trust me, I'm getting everything." Since I didn't see Horatio at any time beside the bouquet toss (we were face-to-face, after all), I can only imagine that he held up to his end of the promise.

Horatio is an out-of-the-box photographer, who captures classic moments.

I can't wait to trash a dress with him, , because I know he's going to have a great idea.

Where should I begin on my fantastic wedding photographer? Horatio's work is truly amazing and people are still talking about how beautiful the pictures are four months later. Wedding photography was very important to us and the photos delivered. I found Studio Four through an online search and Horatio was quick to respond. During our consultation, he answered all of my questions and special requests and put my mind at ease about our wedding day. Horatio was our photographer and arrived right on time begin capturing photos of our day. He blended into the background and was able to catch the smallest details. After we received our pictures, we were extremely pleased with how they turned out. The pictures seemed like a work of art that belonged in a magazine spread. Horatio photographed our wedding December 2nd, 2011 and he did an awesome job! I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day. My Husband and I had spoken to a few other photographers in the area before we met with Horatio. After meeting him, we had no doubt that we were going to hire him for our wedding. He was very professional and personable. He has an outgoing, fun personality and he is really easy to work with. On our wedding day there was not a moment missed and all of our memories will be forever preserved. Horatio is talented in all the areas you would expect of a wedding photographer, beautiful detail shots, clear action shots (on the dance floor), great formals where everyone looks relaxed and natural, and gorgeous shots of my husband and I. We love Horatio! He is so laid back and easy to work with. He likes to laugh and have a good time with hios bride and groom. He knows what is important to clients and makes sure to capture those special moments. We were so lucky to have him as our wedding photographer. We can't say enough about how perfect he made our wedding day. I got overwhelmed with my family at one point and Horatio saw it all over my face so he kindly said we were going to take a break from family pictures for a little while. My husband is crazy and wanted pictures of little details from his cufflinks to his shoes, so Horatio made sure to take special note and get good shots of these little items.

Horatio and his wife were such a pleasure to work with! And not only on our wedding day, but before we had our eshoot and all the way up until our wedding day! Horatio always responded to my emails, messages on facebook, and phone calls. I choose Horatio because of his creativeness and fresh ideas - the photos he took weren't just traditional photos (we did have some of those for the family) but he did some great things with our rings and my dress that are so cool I'm going to have it printed on canvas and hung in my home! I didn't mind paying a little more for his business because I knew the quality of the service I was receiving and these photos will be with us forever - I wouldn't change a thing and I am so glad that my mom suggested adding a second photographer (his wife who also has an AMAZING talent! and was super nice and fun and easy to work with) who was able to stay with us as we were getting ready while Horatio could go take some great photos of the ceremony and the guys - all the photos came on a beautiful CD and I cannot wait to start putting together my album :)

Horatio was BRILLIANT! Absolutely Brilliant! From the moment I walked into the studio I could tell his photography is his greatest passion. His brides become his friends-- not just his clients. Throughout our whole year of wedding planning Horatio was never more than a phone call or an e-mail away. Aside from how wonderful he treated everyone, his pictures are STUNNING. Worth every last penny spent--some of the images brought tears to my eyes. ALL brides need a Horatio Franco wedding print to hang in their home.
