My Future wife whom is of african descent (and thus does not like diamonds due to the blood diamond tragedies happening in Africa) absolutely loves her ring. I purchased a gorgeous custom-made juniper ring from Simply Wood Rings. They were great to work with, and very flexible. They have hundreds of images on their site with rings they have produced in the past, and have many on-hand to order. They make most of their rings out of wood reclaimed from the making of musical instruments, furniture, and other fine wood products - and just about any wood is available. I worked with my fiancee to design and draw a design which we had imprinted - burned - into the band, making it one-of-a-kind.
