We met Sherri very soon after we were engaged, and she was one of only 3 photographers we had met with before making our decision (we scoured 100's of sites before setting up meetings)! From the moment we met her, we knew she would be easy and FUN to work with. Her aesthetic is vibrant and she is extremely adept at capturing emotion in every shot. Practically speaking also, Sherri is EXTREMELY responsive to emails and phone calls, which was fantastic. I'd write her emails at midnight, and have a VERY THOROUGH response from her by the time I woke up for work. We had a fabulous time working with Sherri, and would recommend her to all our engaged friends!

Sherri was so professional from the start. She traveled to Yosemite for our destination wedding and captured so many amazing photos! Her style was just what we were looking for and we were so happy with the results. She worked so quickly and had images for us to look at just days after our wedding! She always responds to email or phone calls so quickly and helps you with anything you ask about. I recommend!!!!

When we first met Sherri and sat down to discuss our wedding at our local Coffee Bean we knew she was the perfect person to capture our wedding. Sherri first shot our amazing engagement pictures which got us very excited for our big day. My wife and I feel lucky to have found her in the sea of photographers online. We can't think of a thing we would change about our wedding day, and Sherri is a big part of that. She made us feel very comfortable in-front of the camera when we needed to and was able to magically blend in with our family and friends when she needed to, always capturing our special moments throughout the night.

Sherri made our wedding day so special. From the moment of our first consultation she was on the same page as I was. She understood exactly how I wanted to capture the memories of our wedding day and provided her expertise on how to best deliver what I envisioned. Sherri did a great job in taking casual/lifestyle shots of me. These were not wedding pictures, but I would certainly use her for a wedding because she is a fine photographer. My friends like the pictures she took of me. I like how Sherri can accentuate colors in processing the pictures. I also like her creativity in determining the composition of pictures based on backgrounds, angles, poses, etc. I will use Sherri again at the next opportunity.

I had such a great time working with Sherri! She had many creative ideas for the photo shoot. She was extremely quick with the turn around time in receiving the photos and she did an amazing job on the post work of each photo. Sherri made me feel so comfortable and beautiful when taking my photos, which is such an important aspect as a photographer. Often times when people do not feel as comfortable in front of the camera, it helps when the photographer is able to creatively offer direction and ideas to bring out the model's best shots. Sherri's talented photo retouching abilities also added to the polished look of the final photograph. Her judgement is superb when hand selecting the best shots out of hundreds making it easier for the me to choose which photos I liked best. Her collaborative process made working with her so much more personal which is key and vital quality that most other photographers may lack.

Sherri Johnson came to our wedding as the assistant to the primary photographer, who was Andy Kitchen. This was a huge lucky break! They made an awesome team!!! She began to shoot the bride's dressing room scene right away. As a 50 year old, camera shy bride, I was super nervous about the picture taking part of our big day. Sherri was calm, professional, warm, creative, knowledgeable, low-key and discreet and little by little she gained my trust. I was able to relax and let down my defenses with her. She brought my anxiety level down from a 10 to a 4 or 5, which is remarkable considering I had only just met her. Without this change in my emotional state, I doubt that no matter how talented the photographer might have been, the chance of getting a good shot of me would have been next to impossible! Once I had relaxed, Sherri went into high gear with super creative, whimsical suggestions for setting up the bride only shots as well as for the entire female members of the bridal party. At no time did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. She made the experience fun and natural. If I had known at the time how beautiful I could be made to look in a photograph taken by a super skilled photographer, I would have been even more self-confident and would have had more fun with it. On the Monday after the wedding, Sherri had posted a super sweet slide show on YouTube of our photos. This was fantastic because I was able to forward the show to family and friends who got an instant preview of what the shots looked like. People were blown away!!! I have frequently been told that ours are the best wedding photographs they have ever seen!!! Sherri Johnson is over the top, totally awesome!!!! Ed and I had the pleasure of working with Sherri on our engagement pictures back in 2007, she was very easy to work with and made you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She really knew how to capture the moment, we were so happy with our pictures.
