Melissa was amazing to work with! She walked us through the entire process will such ease and a great attitude. She really listened, had great ideas to offer when we got stuck, was super responsive and always excited for us. We had no idea what we wanted in the beginning and within a short amount of time, we created a special ceremony that really reflected who we are as a couple and the commitment that we were making to each other. Friends and family told us afterwards how much they loved the ceremony and that they all felt apart of it. We loved that! The tone of the ceremony continued into the reception, there was so much love in the room and everyone had a blast. It was even more amazing than we had imagined. I highly recommend Melissa to everyone, for any event!

Of all the parts of planning our wedding, my groom and I were probably most intimidated by the process of finding an officiant. We wanted someone who could be both personal and professional and who could strike a spiritual/religious balance that everyone in our families would be comfortable with. We almost had a family member officiate because we didn't really want a complete stranger performing this very personal event. At our first meeting, though, Melissa put us totally at ease. She was wonderful to work with, and while she doesn't come cheap, we got tons of compliments on the personalized ceremony she wrote for us. She had lots of ideas for readings, writing vows, etc, and worked with us through four drafts until everything was exactly perfect for us, word by word. She even helped us with obtaining the license and brought us printed copies of our vows so we didn't have to worry about them!

A warning to more reserved brides and their families: Melissa will want the parent to hug and kiss the bride after escorting her to the altar, and she will only sort of be kidding when she says that she'll call the parent back during the ceremony if they don't follow through. This didn't go over too well with my mom, who isn't a very touchy-feely gal, but she followed Melissa's orders and overall the ceremony went beautifully. We are very happy we chose to work with her and at least one guest said ours was ones of the best weddings they'd ever heard.

Meliss Coe was a dream to work with. She helped us craft the most heartfelt, personal and beautiful ceremony that we are still hearing compliments about. I would recommend her to anyone. She was our back bone at the site. She let the manager know we had a plan when the manager tried to get us to do things differently. She was willing to drive down 2 hours the night before for our rehearsal with out complaint and made our wedding more then we could have hoped for. We wanted something none religious and something fun, a ceremony people will remember, and I know she made that happen. I could not have found a better person to fit into our vision.
