BJ was sooooo wondering. She has such a good heart and is so sweet. She was very responsive and communicative. I definitely recommend going with BJ. Her heart is so genuine and kind.

BJ was really helpful and worked with us to create our perfect ceremony. She gave us an outline of what to expect with many different ideas (hand fasting, wine box, etc.) but gave us free range to add, leave out or change anything we wanted. She was professional and patient with us! I would recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant!

Rev. BJ is a true gem. Not only does she have a lovely personality but she's well versed in non traditional ceremonies like broom jumping and handfasting. She was also extremely helpful when we met, and reviewed all the inforinforation I needed from getting our license to changing my name. She's also going above and beyond, as we're having our ceremony in The Gorge and its about a mile hike into our site. Her response? "No problem!" She is also very affordable and can take payments over the phone, I received a receipt for our deposit almost immediately. Very impressed with what she's done so far, I know she will be an incredibly special addition to out big day!

We contacted Rev. BJ when we needed someone to officiate our small ceremony. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. She is a very nice woman and was very easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, she arrived early and made our ceremony special and full of laughter. It was the perfect ceremony. She respected our views and input and it was just the ceremony we wanted. She joined in the theme of the 1920 that we had, which we thought was perfect. She called every month to ensure that we were on track. She allowed us the flexibility of writing our own vows

We were a little nervous about finding someone to officiate our wedding. We found BJ online which we were a little unsure about, but after meeting her we were super excited for her to be a part of our day. She was super easy to work with and had a lot of suggestions to help guide us as we created our ceremony. Unfortuntely she wasn't able to be at our rehearsal the night before the wedding due to a scheduling conflict and for me that was a little stressful, but it all worked out just great on our wedding day. We would highly recommend BJ!

We had Rev BJ for our officient. We were a little nervous about booking an officient online, but after a few email and phone conversations, booked BJ without meeting her. We were not dissapointed when we met a month before the wedding to work out the details. She is great at communicating by phone and email, full of great advice, and easy to work with. Her fee was very reasonable and in line with our expectations. She let us customize the wedding ceremony so every part would be exactly how we wanted it. There were a few last minute changes that didn't make their way into the final ceremony, but overall she did a very good job. She is willing to travel anywhere in OR and WA with a reasonable travel fee, and she charges a small fee for the rehearsal, which she took charge of and helped organize the wedding party.

Although I would really love to whole-heartedly recommend Rev BJ, I just can't do it. We chose not to have a rehearsal (now I regret that!), but since it was such a small, simple service we thought all would go smoothly. I was terribly disappointed that she did not read our ceremony before coming to perform it. Since we are older, we chose to delete the 'Who gives this woman' portion of the ceremony - Rev BJ put it in anyway. When we reached the part of the ceremony where we honored the memory of those who could not be there to share our day, I feel certain that if she had read the ceremony, she would have gotten it right. That part of the ceremony was very important to us and we were disappointed it was delivered badly. After the ceremony, she totally took over and rushed us through signing the marriage certificate and taking pictures. Then - POOF - she was gone! It was a totally impersonal experience and not one I would recommend to friends.
