My husband and I shopped 4 other photographers and met with and viewed their albums. Joe Dickie is above and beyond the top photographer we looked at. He does an amazing and artistic job and has been doing this for a long time. If you are looking for pictures that don't look ed and capture the emotion-Generation Photography should be your choice. They are far from cheap but in the end, what do you have to take with you from your wedding except your husband and your memories (preserved by pictures). :)

I would recommend Generation Photography to anyone! You can tell as soon as you meet Joe that he is passionate about what he does. He is laid back, yet professional. On the day of the wedding he was fun to work with and got every shot we could have wanted without even asking! I love his creative and artist touch. We also had our pictures very soon after we got back from our honeymoon! Our pictures were worth every penny!!!

Joe was hands down the best photographer ever. He has a killer eye and was able to capture precious moments that happened in split seconds. He was unobtrusive yet everywhere at the same time at our wedding! Every picture of our wedding came out like a work of art. On top of excellent skills and amazing talent, Joe has a great personality to boot. My husband is usually so rigid in front of the camera, Joe was able to make him relax and our pictures came out fantastic. Also he has a big heart on top of it all. His passion for taking great pictures is reflected in the quality of the pictures and the way he handles his clients. The turn around time was also second to none without sacrifice to quality. You cannot go wrong with Joe.

Joe and his crew are great! Super energetic and easy to get along with. His photos stood out among all the others we looked at (and we looked at tons)! In the end we are so glad we spent the money. We are very happy with our photos and would recommend Joe to anyone else who asked.

Joe took pictures for our engagement session, as well as our wedding. He was wonderful! Working with him was an absolute joy- he was so much fun to work with, always professional, on-time, detail oriented, and ready to have fun! We are so glad that we hired him for such an important day in our lives! For anyone out there looking for a photographer for their wedding (or any big event) Joe Dickie at Generation Photography is the one to go with. Not a single regret!!!

It was so much fun to work with Joe. He is a very casual photographer, so if you want a lot of formally posed pictures, he isn't the one to go with, but if you wan't fun, realistic photos, you won't find anyone better. He captures every moment, but you don't even notice that he is there. He understands that you want fantastic pictures of the day, but that isn't the reason that you're getting married. You receive all of the rights to your proofs and you can't print as many out whenever you want. We were missing some of our photos at first, but as soon as we let him know, a new CD was in the mail the next day. Photography done by anyone will be pricey, but thr professionalism and courtesy we experienced with Generation Photography made it worth every penny.

Joe Dickie was exceptional on every level. We hit it off immediately with him, he's got a great sense of humor and is just an all-around great guy. He was incredibly responsive to any question or concern we had leading up to the wedding. The images he captured on the wedding day were better than we could have possibly hoped. He and his assistant really captured the feel of the day and caught tons of great moments--many of which we didn't even know were happening. We've received tons of compliments on our photos--we thought we had a beautiful wedding, but our photos make it look even better. We're so happy we have such a complete and beautiful record of the best day or our lives! We'd love to work with Joe again if we ever get the chance. We'd highly recommend him to anyone.
