The staff at Events Catering was great and helped us through our wedding day. They have excellent food and the venue (we used Ivy Hall) is absolutely perfect. That said, we did have some organization issues...

However, I would use them again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend this venue and catering company.

The staff was so amazing the night of our wedding! From start to finish they were all so helpful, and i worked with several people throughout the planning process. Everyone at our reception raved about the food and excellent service!

Overall, Events Catering did a good job but they were slightly challenging to deal with at the beginning with regards to contract language. The food was good but not great...we would not recommend the crab cakes.
We enjoyed the client reception...this gave us an idea of the types of food offered. Linda was great to work with.

April and her staff at Events are fantastic! I planned my wedding from out of state and booked the location without having ever been there simply because of April and how amazing she was and how she was working with me. The food was to die for! I had so many people tell me how it was so gorgeous and the food was simply divine! The whole thing went off without any problems (at least none that I know of!) and I simply could not have asked for a better day!

We had our reception at Ivy Hall at the Roswell Mill. I food was fantastic and they have a really good selection of menu items to choose from. Our reception was beautiful and the night of there was not a thing for my groom and I to worry about. We loved it and would reccommend it. The only problem that we had was with meetings prior to the event. They stay very busy.

Such an amazing experience working with April at Events Catering. We truly can not say enough nice things about her or her staff! Everything was perfect at the reception! We could not have asked for more. We had so many people comment to us after the wedding about how good the food was, how polite the staff was, and how beautiful the facility was. My wedding day truly felt like a fairy tale and this catering company helped make it worry free and so much fun! They are so reasonable with their prices and so flexible and reliable! We didn't want to have to worry about any details the day of and I can truly say we didn't have to...they had it all covered! Thank you so much April for making our day so special! :)

I had many problems with this vendor during the planning process. However, I will start by saying that I was very pleased with how everything ran on the day of the wedding. Everything was set up and executed as I had planned (although I'm sure alot of that was also in thanks to my wedding coordinator) and I was pleased with the staff at the wedding (with the exception of a bartender who refused to serve one of my bridesmaids after noting how many drinks she had ordered - she had been ordering drinks all night for herself and both of her parents so they did not have to get out of their seats).
I felt I was mislead before I signed my contract with this vendor. For example, I was told that we would have a tasting where we could sample all of the food offered on the stations menu we chose. What the company really offers is a few client dinners throughout the year (and if you cannot make these you are out of luck) where they serve SOME of the options on the menu. These dinners are actually quite nice and you can see how they set up for a wedding, but I was disappointed that we could not try everything. Many of the food options we served we did not see or taste until the wedding day. Also, even though tables are included in the contract, the company had 4 other weddings the same weekend as mine around their various locations in roswell and alpharetta. We paid extra to rent the top and bottom floors of Ivy hall and I wanted a cocktail hour with hightop tables. Well, we had close to 200 guests and they told me that I could only have 4 hightops. I ended up having to pay to rent additional tables from a rental company.
Additionally, I felt that they were very inflexible. When I asked if my florist could be let into the facility to view it in advance of the wedding, no one was willing to let us in. They have a very set way that they like to run weddings and they are not very willing to alter things to set up the wedding the way the bride wants. I felt like I was given very rude responses when describing how I wanted the wedding to run and it did not match the way they always do things. Finally, their inability to return emails and phone calls in a timely manner (or at all!) is very unprofessional.
If you are on a budget, I was very pleased with the pricing of food and alcohol at this site. You also get a great deal of food with the stations menu. However, if you are able to go elsewhere I would definitely recommend that. I was way too stressed and frustrated with this vendor during the planning process to make the price worthwhile.

They were very helpful and accommodating. I recommend getting the wedding planner they offer for the day of if you don't have your own. It would have been totally crazy if I hadn't had her!

We still receive compliments on the venue and the food. We wish we had another event to plan so we could go back. We couldn't have picked a better place for the reception.

Our food arrived fresh and very warm!

We had a wonderful ceremony outside and the reception was under a big tent. The food was delicious and all the servers were so nice.
