As far as my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses go, David's Bridal provided an exceptional value. I got my dress for a steal! The alterations department did an amazing job with my dress and it was gorgeous on my wedding day. My only complaint is my mom purchased an undergarment and ended up not using it and David's Bridal would not take it back. The tags were on it, I had the receipt (it had been purchased with my David's Bridal credit card), and it was never worn, but they refused. They offered me a store credit, but at that point I didn't need anything else for my wedding. Other than that, great service!

From buying the dress to alterations the team at David's was wonderful. I bought the dress in Feb 2010 and I had lost 40lbs before the wedding. They let me come in and get the dress in a smaller size and even let me change out my undergarments! They were all so helpful and wonderful from start to finish.

First of all, my dress was beautiful. My dress was a fantastic price. Those two things alone are enough to make me recommend Davids Bridal for your wedding dress. Now, the negative part of that is, you will have to deal/settle with some less than desirable things along the way. The store itself (Southside) is a bit tattered and the lighting and mirrors are not ideal for their purpose. The appointments are booked poorly which results in your salesperson leaving you for extended periods of time to help other brides. On a positive note, all the salespeople I met were very nice and helpful when they were available. The worst part of the experience for me was the cost of the alterations. I had minimal alterations and a bustle and it cost me almost $200. One of my bridesmaids had her dress altered and it cost more than the dress itself. The alteration shop itself only has appointments on certain days of the week, which can be limiting depending on your schedule. I feel somewhat torn recommending this vendor to other brides. If you have a bit of patience and are on a budget, then this could be a great option for you. If you are looking for a stress free fairytale shopping experience, look elsewhere...

So, I went to every Bridal Shop in town, and I picked my dress from David's Bridal. Why? Well because for the value for the money was the best I could find and they had an amazing selection! At some other shops, I tried on gowns that were between $1200-$5000 and there were some beautiful ones. However, if you're looking for an amazing dress for under $1,000 then David's Bridal can't be beat! Did I mention that I had so many compliments on my dress!
I went to the Avenues location and worked with Aline and had a great experience!! She was so patient with me and helped me find the perfect dress. Plus she gave me her honest opinion on what was most flattering on me, and I really appreciated that!
I also got all my bridesmaids dresses from here which was easy and fun. One word of advice. Make an appointment before you go and try to go during the week if you can. They're open till 9pm during the week and it's not as hectic as the weekends!

All their sales associates are very helpful but I found the store manager to be very rude and a bit condescending. I would recommend them just stay away from the manager. Other than that I LOVED it! Awesome prices, and even better staff. And they got everything I needed-- even last minute things right on time!! Very Helpful!

We had a great David's Bridal experience! I went with my sister (also my MOH) and my mother on a Wednesday afternoon. The store was empty, which I hear is not the case on the weekends, so go during the week and during the day if you want great service since they are slow then. I was there for six hours and the woman helping us even missed her lunch break by several hours to help me find the perfect dress. I wish I could remember her name because she was soooo helpful and nice. My advice, give David's a shot, just choose the time you go wisely.

Davids Bridal had the best selection at reasonable cost. My consultant did not listen to my budget, all the dresses she brought me were over budget and the price was not told to me until after I tried them on and fell in love with them. She was very patient however, as I tried on ALOT of dresses.

David's Bridal was wonderful I am from colorado and had one day to find my perfect wedding gown and I did it was the perfect gown for me. I interracted with lots of davids bridals one in akron ohio and 2 in colorado (aurora & westminster). Florida was wonderful they helped me figure out what i wanted. I went to the shop thinking i knew and quickly realized what i thought would look nice definetly didnt. They helped me realized what would look nice for my body type and coloring was an aline ivory because white washed out my face. Everyone told me i loked beautiful and my gown matched my venue perfectly. Thank you davids for making my day perfect. your customer service and williness to help was wonderful. All of my bridal party looked wonderful as well.

Davids offers a huge variety so there is something for every style and price range. The consultants are very helpful in helping the bride (and the bridal party) complete their entire ensemble from dress, to shoes to veil, etc. Alterations were prompt and professional and a reasonable price.

David's Bridal was the third shop that I went to. I had been so disappointed in the sales staff and the selection at 2 supposedly upscale shops. Kristine at David's Bridal could not have been more attentive or helpful. She listened to what I wanted and brought me dresses in my budget. I can't recommended them enough.

The dress looked expensive than it's real price and I loved it! I've always been a practical buyer and when I found the dress @ David's bridal I knew that it was the dress I wanted. Something simple and elegant. After I had it altered, the dress was perfect! I looked like Cinderella on my wedding day! And everybody loved my dress!

I purchased my bridesmaid dresses from David's Bridal. They assisted me in finding the perfect dresses to compliment an outdoor wedding. I wanted the girls to have the same color, but wanted them to pick out a dress that fit their personal style. The consultant was so helpful and worked with each girl to find the perfect dress. I couldn't have been happier with the selections. Even though each dress was different, they complimented one another and made for a cohesive look.

I found my dress on the sale rack, so that was a score, but when it came time to have it altered I was very disappointed with their alteration department. What they told me originally they could do (alter the neckline and hemline) they were then saying they could not do it. I was very upset and they charged a ridiculous amount of money for simple alterations. There were extra threads and strings hanging off that I kept having to point out to the seamstress as she cut. I also had to have 4 fittings, because they could not get it right. Finally I just took the dress and steamed it myself and cut off the extra threads myself. I paid almost as much for the alterations as I did the dress. If you have it in your budget, go to a different store all together. In the end I was pleased, but only because I couldn’t deal with it anymore.

David's Bridal was the last place I expected to find my reception dress. But once i got there and realized there was so much more to the store than I ever knew.
The ladies were extremely helpful and sweet. The alterations were spot on and the experience could not have been easier.
I was so pleasantly surprised.

My experience with trying on and buying dresses wa wonderful. All of the consultants were helpful and gave their honest opinions. I was able to take advantage of the 12 month financing, which made my $1,000 dress seem a little more affordable. I brought my dress in about 3 months before my wedding to have alterations done, as I was changing quite a bit and wanted to give plenty of time. When I came in for my final fitting, my dress still wasn't ready. They had the dress for alterations for 2 months and waited until the very last minute to work on it. When putting my dress on the day of my wedding, I found out that they had removed the snaps or my sleeves..so I had to sew my sleeves on myself!

I ordered my invitations from David's Bridal because I got a discount, and I'm really happy with how they turned out. I received them only a few weeks after placing the order, and everything looked perfect. All in all, I'd recommend them for purchasing your dress and invitations, but not for alterations.
