I went to this store simply because it was close to my parent's house while I visited them in Oregon over Christmas. I tried on a few dresses, and finally found one that I loved. The only issue that I had with the dress was that it had a "cafe" colored sash along the hipline that drew unwanted attention. I asked the consultant if it came in any other colors and without hesitation she told me that it did not. So, I purchased the dress (I spent about 1100 dollars here) with plans to spend the extra money to alter the sash to make it less noticable.

A few days later I saw my dress in a bridal magazine, and saw who the designer was. I checked the Allure website and found that my dress, to my shock, came in THREE COLORS! I called Angela's Bridal Mart the next day expecting them to apologize & quickly refund my money. They refused to refund my money, and even admitted that it was their mistake! The manager first offered to order the dress in a different color, but I hesitated because I wouldn't be able to try it on in the other colors. Once I agreed to do this later that day, however, she informed me that was not actually an option because my dress had already left the store.

Since then I have called numerous times and even e-mailed the owner to no avail. The employees have lied to me several tiems regarding calling me back, speaking to the owner, and even what occured during the transaction that day. The manager told me yesterday that she was basically doing me a favor by "listening to my sad story" (dripping with sarcasm) and the owner e-mailed me today telling me that they would not discuss the issue further and would not negotiate with me.

This is the worst customer service I have ever, ever seen. I have never been treated so rudely and dishonestly in my life.

Please, I beg you, do NOT deal with this store! If you absolutely must have a gown they carry, please beware of anything they tell you and double check the facts they give you about the gown!

Of course my dress was "THE ONE" but it was costly. Dresses are! But it def. wouldn't be my number one choice of a place when there are so many other places to choose from now. If you want a good deal, maybe they have them now. But at the time being that was the only place in town, besides The Cellular or something like that, and that place was RIDICULOUS! So my dress was expensive for one day. (Remember this was 2002!) Otherwise they were really helpful.
