Shirley is amazing, I have been to places like David's bridal and have seen what the cost is to the bride an how brides are treated. Shirley was accommodating from the moment I walked into the store, my wedding was not that far off so we had to buy off the rack, she found several in my size and patiently waited while I tried them on, she helped me decide on veils and undergarments and shoes and hair pieces, and got a great deal with a sale she happened to have going on and the percentage she gives brides off after purchasing their dress. She recommended me to an amazing seamstress who had my dress done quickly and Shirley pressed it at no extra charge. at the last minute I decide to get my groomsmen and bridesmaid wear here too and Shirley was just as understanding and helpful. If you want excellent service and to meet a wonderful lady go here. I didn't have any problems, and was able to see Shirley every time I went in.

I’ll be honest, I almost didn’t even go to Shirley’s because some local people (I am new to the Southern Oregon region) warned me that they don’t have good service and it makes the experience not enjoyable… but I am THRILLED I didn’t listen to others and went to Shirley’s despite their warnings. I had WONDERFUL service from scheduling an appointment to picking up my dress before I drove cross country with my wedding dress.
I must have tried on 20 dresses (and of course picked the first dress I tried on) and the sales lady was wonderful and helpful the whole time. She listened to what I was looking to, what I did and did not like about dresses, and helped pick dresses to fit my vision.
Shirley’s recommended a great alternation place for my gown, but I only needed to get the dress bustled. After the alternation they steamed and kept my dress in a safe place until I left for my wedding.
Every time I was in their shop I was sincerely asked how wedding planning was going, and if they could help with recommendations.
I LOVED my experience and again am so glad I didn't listen to people who warned me to go elsewhere for my wedding dress.
Thank you Shirley’s Bridal for all your help! I would strongly recommend you to brides!

The staff at Shirley's Bridal was fairly helpful (not the most professional), but I felt we got the best assistance from Shirley herself. She was very honest and forthcoming with crucial information and opinions. They recommended a fantastic woman who did my alterations with a 20% discount, and I also got a 20% discount on anything else I bought in the store after purchasing my dress. I dropped my dress off a week prior to the wedding to have it pressed, and when I picked it up the day before the wedding it was in perfect condition and they included a light blue garter! The staff was very excited for my wedding day, and as we left with my dress in hand, I received a very personal thank you from Shirley. I would recommend this vendor to everyone in the Southern Oregon-Northern California region...they were wonderful!

This is a great place to find a dress, they have so many designers to choose from. Though if you get overwhelmed easily, this would not be a good place for you. When you first walk in, its just a sea of dress with little organization.

They have a huge selection of dresses. I picked out several that I thought I liked and I ended up choosing one that one of the associates had picked out. They really do know what looks good on certain body types. Shirley is extremely honest and sometimes brutal. They are always busy which worried me, but everytime I went in I got the help I needed. My dress looke absolutley amazing!

Shirley's Bridal offers what seems like an unlimited selection of wedding dresses. She has you go and pull a few dresses you like, then based around what you found she pulls a dozen more with similar styles. She knows what she's is doing, but it brutally honest with you and whomever is with you. They offer an seamstress for alterations who does a wonderful job. If you can take honesty and abrupt behavior, this salon is wonderful. I paid for my dress in full. The salon seemed so busy, I didn't want my dress to get lost in the mix!

Take your money elsewhere.
Unfortunately, my experience with Shirley’s Bridal Salon has been terrible from beginning to end. My friend won a private bridesmaids dress fitting through a raffle the wedding expo at the armory, and we showed up ready to have a fun time and find a dress for her special day. We all left feeling severely disappointed. From the style selection, to Shirley’s (lack of) customer service skills.
First off, the dress style selection left much to be desired. I don’t think any of the available styles have been updated since 2003. Incredibly gaudy, tacky, and outdated.
Secondly, Shirley couldn’t remember the brides name. Throughout the whole three hours we were there, she didn’t get her name right even ONCE.
Additionally, at several points while measuring us bridesmaids, she made very discouraging comments on our body types. Telling the tinier ones that they needed to “put more meat on their bones” and telling the others that they could invest in shape wear to have the dresses “fit right”.
Thankfully, she allowed us to put the dresses on a payment plan, which was very convenient seeing as we were dress shopping 9 months before the wedding.
In that time, Shirley has been calling and harassing us for months trying to get us to pay it off in full. I understand her frustration, but we have signed papers stating that we are responsible for the dresses & we have already put money down for them. Yesterday, she called and when I said I could get it paid off soon, but my other (monthly) bills take a priority over a dress I won’t need until September, she told me to get my priorities straight.
Today, she charged the brides debit card for all the bridesmaids dresses. She did not receive authorization to charge the card. The bride was not responsible for our bridesmaids dresses. We have all signed papers saying we are individually responsible for our own dresses.
The bride has already spoken to her bank and reversed the charge, and Shirley is now withholding the brides dress until we come in and get our dresses. At this point, I no longer want to give Shirley my hard earned money, but I feel OBLIGATED to because she is holding the brides dress hostage.
Take your money elsewhere, I am typically all for supporting local businesses over corporate chains, but I wish we had gone to David’s bridal or something similar.
