AAA Entertainment was the DJ at my brother's wedding which was held in my brother's back yard. He did a fantastic job managing the flow of the event with the music prior to and after the ceremony and during the reception. He got everyone up and dancing and was very accomodating as far as turning the music up and down so we could talk. When most of the group was dancing, the music was up and when most of the group was sitting, he turned it down so we could talk. He was very flexible as my brother changed some parts of flow unexpectedly and he adjusted accordingly. I have been at DJ's Rons events before and have never been disappointed. I recommended him to my brother and will continue to recommend him to my friends.

DJ Ron was very good. He played great music and kept everyone out on the dance floor. He planned the reception beautifully and everything went very smoothly. He is a very interactive DJ who doesn't just stand there and play music he was very involved in the whole night ti make sure that everything was perfect and memorable which our reception was. I would highly recommend this company to anybody. Also is a great value compared to other companies we contacted.

He wasn't completely horrible, but he certainly sold himself better than he was. He usually took at least 2 days to respond to all my emails, When we had our final meeting, i had to give him ALL of the information over again. He had forgotten just about everything we had previously discussed.

When it came to his performance at the wedding...there was much to be desired. He didn't seem to understand his equipment very well because he was late with the recessional music & he messed up on our grand entrance song causing it to play double.

He never checked to make sure everyone was present before starting the music for special events. for example, I missed the first play through of the cake cutting song cause i was going to the bathroom, my dad missed the cake cutting entirely! & My husband was absent for the bouquet toss & we had to hunt for him in order to do the garter toss, causing a 10 minutes pause of nothingness.

Later on he had to run across the dance floor in order to put more music on, because he was distracted talking to the waitstaff at the buffet. He also tripped on his wires & killed all the music for another 5 minutes of silence.

the 1 thing that has me peeved most is that I had told him that i didn't want any participation songs. (macarena, electric slide,...) didn't matter if even my mother requested it. the answer was no! well he apparently only understood half of that. Because about 1/2 hr into the dancing, he sent a guest to me for permission to play electric slide, in which case i had to tell her no myself. WTH?? that was SO embarrassing!!! no bride should have to be put in that situation!

Edit on 9/16/2011: It appears He had second thoughts on his response that he left last night, and updated that today. Here are 2 links to screenshots I took of what he replaced:

I for one would like to add how appalled I am at the insults slung at me yesterday. For the mistakes that you made (of which I have on film, captured by the Videographer I hired for that day). I gave you a fair review score (with an overall rating of 3.8!). I didn't bash you, and I certainly wasn't "dragged out" by my "abused husband" (as can be seen in the next 3 pictures).

I do not accept your excuses. You say you were doing me a favor by filming my wedding? That is false. At our final meeting you asked us whether you could film key moments to upload to youtube in order to promote your business. I said you could because i didn't mind. WHY would I want a bad copy of my first dance, when I hired a professional with a top grade camera to film it already?? (I have a review for "The Good Life Film" company as well) I have checked your youtube channel since then. there has never been a single video from my wedding uploaded on your account. Nor have you sent me any emails with the files either. I can tell you now, I didn't want them to begin with & I certainly don't want them now. BTW this is what he "films" with...
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/wicked_faery18/Our%20Wedding%20June%2015%202011/Professional%20Photos/2_1262.jpg

You also used my friends and family as a shield, saying that they gave you many compliments at the wedding. It's called being polite. and as someone told me today, "I can't believe his defense for talking to the waiters, because they wanted business cards!!! Last time I checked, that's not a valid excuse at all. You are working a job. Do your marketing at a different time!"

To call me a drunk and abusive bridezilla must have been very easy for you. And I pity you for feeling forced to go on a reckless blaming spree, just because I gave an honest review. This could easily become a back and forth blame fest. And I suppose that's what I get for being nice & respectful in the first place.

And you can be sure that I have reported your abusive responses to the BBB.

& If I was such a bridezilla, I'd be demanding my money back as per you guarantee at the top of the page. I'm not because it's my fault I hired you & I don't want any more regrets about the day than you have already given me.

To quote my sister: "because you were professional and courteous
but he was just belligerent and obnoxious. the fact of the matter and bottom line is that he treated your wedding like it was nothing because it was small, during the week and at a lower rate and that was his major problem that led to all the little stuff."

Edit on 10/03/2011: Well it seems he now is regretting having made any insults at me, because he has now changed his response again. here's are screen shots of the "2nd response"..
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/wicked_faery18/DJRevised.png
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/wicked_faery18/DJRevisedresponse.png

& since he has now itemized things, i'll do the same.
"Answer: The very first thing I tell couples is that I’m a DJ not a salesman." this is a mute point, but since he brought it up...Anyone promoting their business and/or services for sale, is technically doing the job of a salesman.
"Answer: After reviewing my emails I took two days ONCE when my wife was in the hospital. All of the other times were within one day. To me that is NOT usually." When a response is sent after 10pm, & is not read until the next day, I tend to count that as an additional day. So congratulations for nit-picking.
"Answer: Our first meeting was ONLY to meet with them and verbally discuss the wedding and to sign a contract. Our “final” meeting was the actual consultation where I write everything down. Not all people have a photographic memory." You did write everything down the first time as well, & brought those notes with you to the second meeting, that normally leads a client to believe that you at least read your notes before going to the meeting so that you have an idea of what was already discussed.
"Answer: I was maybe 5 seconds “late” with the recessional music ONLY because their Humanist wedding officiant did not know how to properly perform a wedding ceremony. I perform at hundreds of ceremonies and all officiants announce “I now introduce Mr. and Mrs. So and So”, then I play the recessional. That did NOT happen. I am not a mind reader either. Concerning the playing double, I think she was hearing double." As I already said, I have video of everything that was just listed here. including the entrance song playing double. So the fact that you keep trying to imply that I was drunk, is really pathetic on your part.
"Answer: I ALWAYS tell the bride BEFORE certain events take place so if someone was missing it’s because she ignored me. My job is hard enough without constantly tracking EVERYONE down. And nothingness is a big word… which meant I had people on the dance floor while they were “hunting”." The only time you came up to me to ask about a song was at the end of the night (about 8:30) as my husband & I were leaving, You asked about the final dance, to which we told you that you could skip it. You even apologized over the microphone to everyone for having to play the cake cutting some twice because I wasn't there the first time around & you "didn't know it was so short"-to use your words. & for you to quote me saying "hunt" is sad, because you were the one to say (again) over the microphone that everyone needed to "form a hunting party" to find the groom for the garter toss. & WHO said you had to track people down? you just should have taken a look around the small room to see if the involved persons were in the room. & just to clarify, "people on the dance floor" doesn't mean anything if they're not dancing to music.
"Answer: The wait staff was asking me for a stack of cards, and I ran to avoid any silence. The outlets at this place were in the middle of the floor rather than on the wall, and I tripped over the wire walking backwards filming her event for her (at no charge)." once again, i didn't hire you to "film" anything. I wasn't intending to use that film. that was for your use. & also previously pointed out, You were hired to do a job. whether or not you were asked for business cards is mute. that should have been taken care of at the end of the night. NOT during the middle of the party.
"Answer: I’m not sure why she thinks I TOLD the guest to ask her for the electric slide as I did no such thing. The guest took it upon herself to ask. I cannot force people to make requests. All I told her was that the bride did not want ANY fun stuff at her wedding, and that I did not know why." You think I didn't ask her why she came to me about it before writing my review? & no she wasn't lying either. you told her "You would have to take it up with her" which sends the message that it's ok to ask the bride even though I was told NO under any circumstance.

You really should stop making excuses and lying about the events. because it's really pushing me to put up links to my videographer's footage for people to see the truth for themselves.

Oh & way to go with making all these dummy accounts to boost your score back up. (as if my 3.8 really hurt it) Or did you ask friends to make accounts & do it for you? and an FYI here for you, most 5 star reviews that are posted by people with no other reviews on their accounts are usually disregarded on the account that a vendor can easily be posting them himself. & the fact that there have been 3 or 4 of them posted in just the past 2 weeks, is really alerting.

You really are hurting your own reputation with your own remarks, than if you had just left my review alone at the beginning.

You should be glad that I'm not going after your money back guarantee that you so boldly have posted at the top of the page! or at least you did in my first screen shots. What did you take that out for? Are you afraid I might actually take you up on it now?
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/wicked_faery18/DJOriginalmoneyback.png

don't worry. I'm not a money monger.

Oh wait, I found it on you main page!
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/wicked_faery18/DJmoneyback-1.png

Edit number 2 on 10/03/2011: I guess he realized his over all mistake, & i'm glad I got a screen shot before he took the entire response down.

Well after checking out what other people wrote about DJ Ron and AAA entertainment, I must say I agree with everyone (except for the one very sad soul)...DJ RON IS AWESOME!!!

My wife and I were very impressed with his professionalism and his attention to detail.

He rocked the party all night long and had every song you could ever think of. During line dances like the electric slide and cha cha slide, he would get out there on the floor and teach the dance for those who didn't know how to do it.

We also really appreciated him filming key moments that made our party unique and emailing the footage to us after.

For those who are on the fence about which DJ to hire for your wedding, I promise you AAA entertainment is the way to go. He's worth every dollar!

I've been to other weddings and DJ Ron totally blows the other DJ's out of the water!

DJ Ron was excellent in all aspects. Everything was great, from the ceremony to the reception. He made it easy for my wife and I to enjoy ourselves at our wedding and not have to worry about anything. He was easy to work with before and during the wedding. If you need a wedding dj, Ron is your man.

DJ Ron with AAA Entertainment did an outstanding job at our Christsmas party Dec 2010. It was a challenge as we had guests from teenagers through seniors. He monitored the mood and played the songs that got the guests on the floor dancing. We plan to have DJ Ron again at our Christmas party this year. He is always early, always professional and a very hard worker. I had seen him perform at weddings and a summer picnic, so he is very diverse. Thanks DJ Ron, see you in Dec!

My wife and I can honestly say that our wedding was the best one we ever been to. DJ Ron Macomber was a huge part of this event being truly spectacular. The Bellevue Mansion did not seem to be an easy place to DJ. We had three setups, one for the ceremony out in the backyard of the mansion near the Gazebo, one for cocktail hour and one for the reception. On top of that Ron himself videotaped with his mini cam all over the place. This was in addition to the video his wife Mary did for us. He was extremely flexible with last minute changes and accommodating for announcements as well. The value we received was by far more than the money we paid. We would recommend him as a DJ for any type of event.

Sincerely,
Craig and Jessica Feinberg

Ron was recently the DJ for my daughter's wedding on May 29. He met with us in advance and was very helpful with suggestions about the flow of the reception and was also careful to check on the names/pronunciations of the parent and wedding party introductions and toasts. We had many compliments on the music for both the ceremony and the reception and he kept people up on the dance floor. His suggestion for a switch up during the garter exchange resulted in lots of laughs! The music was never overpowering and he played a nice mix during the cocktail and dinner hour. I would highly recommend him for an event.

I never expected our DJ to be the person who provided me with the most help. Ron and his staff were far more helpful than my Event Coordinator, Maid of Honor, and Photographer put together. He provided order and direction to our reception. He is extremely flexible and can handle anything! He played an integral role in our wedding and our special day wouldn't have been the same without him!

DJ Ron did a wonderful job with the music for our big day. Ron covered the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and was on point the whole time. He was very easy to work with in the time leading up to the wedding and was flexible to last second changes on the day of, due to circumstances beyond our control. I would only have two small critiques - 1-He started with the appropriate song while my BMs entered but switched to our 'recessional' song when I began my entrance when the song was supposed to remain the same. Luckily it flowed well, and I love the 2nd song, so it ended up working. But somewhere along the line there was a miscommunication. 2-He also announced the name and artist of the songs for each of our special dances (first dance, parents dances, etc) before he played them. I'm a 'let the music speak for itself' kind of girl, so I would have preferred he not do this. But, we didn't discuss it ahead of time, so what can you do? It maybe something you mention WHEN you book him, tho. Thanks, Ron!
