The JW made our dreams come to life for our wedding. Olivia Franklin was our event manager and she was nothing short of amazing. She gave us the ability to customize our wedding to exactly what our vision was. The chefs made sure all of our guests were satisfied from cocktail hour all the way to late night snacks. They went above and beyond to make sure every single guest was comfortable. I could not imagine having our wedding at any other venue, it was simply perfect.

I cannot recommend this venue enough for anyone planning their wedding! From start to finish, everything about our special day was absolutely perfect. The staff and event manager truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt taken care of throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail and dedication made all the difference. Our family and guests were incredibly impressed, not only by the beauty of the venue but also by the professionalism and warmth of the staff. The level of service provided was exceptional—everyone was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They made sure that all of our needs were met, from the smallest requests to the more significant aspects of the event. The event manager/captain were a superstar, coordinating everything effortlessly and ensuring that the day flowed seamlessly. It felt like we were in the best hands possible, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment of our wedding. If you're looking for a venue that delivers not only a stunning setting but also a team that genuinely cares about making your day special, this is the place. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will always cherish the memories they helped create.

Our experience at the JW Marriott was first class. They were incredibly flexible to satisfy all of our requests & were so helpful the weekend of our wedding.

The staff was accommodating to all of our guests visiting for the weekend & checked in to make sure everything was as we liked. The event planning team was very easy to work with & allowed us to tweak the sequence of events, dining, drink packages & service experience on the night of our wedding, which was much appreciated.

Overall, I would recommend the Grand Rapids JW Marriott to anyone looking to get married in the area. Olivia Franklin was our primary contact & we had an amazing experience with her!

Hard to put into words just how amazing this place was to be married at. They truly cover every base and couldn't provide a more heavenly type of service. From beginning to end they were professional, and easy to work with. On the wedding day everything I could've ever asked for was either already provided, or a hand wave away. I'm not joking when I say writing this right now I have tears of joy in my eyes, and expect to for the entirety of our marriage anytime these memory come to mind.

We had our wedding at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids, and it was amazing and above and beyond what I imagined. There are so many aspects that made the night what is was - the venue was beautiful, the food was exactly as it tasted at our tasting, and the staff was incredibly kind and efficient. We received numerous comments from guests about how efficiently and professionally the night was ran. The highlight for me was the event planning staff. They made each step so easy and stress free and provided guidance throughout the entire process. I cannot thank everyone enough, it was truly the best night.

Great venue to have a dream wedding! Everything went smoothly as it should. Olivia Franklin worked extra hard as our wedding coordinator to make sure what we had visioned was painted exactly as we wanted it done. The food is spectacular as well as the cake. We were able to do 2 different flavors as both my husband & I had our differences, which made us both happy! We had guests who were GF & VF they make sure the food that we had chose was met to the standards of their allergy regulations. Olivia always kept in contact with us to make sure everything is in order 2 weeks before our wedding. Overall, we had the best wedding!

A bride here 100% recommending the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. For the couple looking for a sleek and modern venue, with great food, great service, and to top it all off, a great hotel stay, I recommend the JW. The wedding planning process with the JW will be stress free and enjoyable, thanks to the events director, Anna. She is extremely responsive, detailed, and organized. Anna answered every single one of my (silly) questions. We were engaged in September, decided on the JW in November, and had our dream wedding by June. This is all thanks to Anna and her help with the JW. She was fantastic with organizing the vendors, and contacted the Amway Grand bakery for our cake. Anna did everything, above and beyond, and we are very thankful for that.

We stayed in the JW for our wedding. We even got a room overlooking the Blue Bridge where our ceremony was to be held! They were great! They set up flowers from friends in our room before we got there and sent up a bottle of bubbly as well. Everything we needed was brought as far as food, bottled water, luggage carts, etc. Everyone we encountered was kind and very helpful. Plus, their app was great for a quick check in and check out!

Beautiful place to stay on our wedding night, and wonderful staff accommodating our blocks for guests!!
