This place was my fairytale wedding venue. They had so much stuff to use and help complete the look I wanted. The owners were so nice and flexible, they worked so well with an OCD bride like me. They didn't blink an eye when I came again and again to make sure every detail was perfect. Even during the event they were there to help and make sure everything went perfect for our big day. Highly appreciated the owners, and recommend this venue.

I am thankful my husband stumbled upon Whispering Oaks Terrace. We had looked at so many venues but kept being met with the overwhelming disappointment of being priced out. I knew we wanted a whimsical, romantic, and timeless night under the stars. I was beginning to think I'd have to change my dream wedding.

When my husband showed me this venue online I found myself holding my breath. It was perfect. Obviously we couldn't afford it... It was everything I'd wanted. After seeing the pricing I collected my jaw off the ground and we ran to see it the next morning. Nathan, the owner gave us a tour and told us the charming story of the venue he hand built. Needless to say this was a easy YES.

Dawn, the owner, was responsive and kind. She was always patient with my questions and helped us have a successful wedding day. They also require you to hire Melissa Ellis as a day of wedding coordinator. Missy is a beautiful human who is incredibly responsive, direct, and VERY HELPFUL. So helpful we hired her as our wedding planner or the day wouldn't have gone as smoothly without her.

Whispering Oaks Terrace is a dream, so many hidden gems and places to take pinterest worthy photos. We had a little over 130 guest. Everyone keeps telling us how much fun they had at our wedding.

I fell in love with Whispering Oaks Terrace as soon as I walked on the property. It is so big and beautiful filled with oak trees, succulents, lights, and antiques. It was exactly what I was looking for in a venue. Dawn and Nathan answered any questions I had and were very friendly. They also have a room that you can rent for your rehearsal dinner which was a life saver. I loved my wedding.

Got married here last month and I must say it was everything I could have asked for from a venue. The recommended vendors are a must have if you want it all to run smoothly and get Missy because she really made the whole expierence run without error. Thank you guys again for having our wedding here it meant the world to us.

From start to finish...Hands down, the BEST venue by far in price, amenities and customer service (and I have worked with several venues for various events in the past)!! Nathan and Dawn are amazing to work with, quick response to any and all inquiries and they really do treat you and your guests as if you were their family in their home, not just someone "renting space from them." These guys KNOW and LOVE their venue and will help you every step of the way, giving you ideas, tips suggestions on what works best in the space. Seriously, book Whispering Oaks Terrace!! We did for my daughter's wedding yesterday, and even before we left the venue, family and friend's were texting about how "amazing" and "wonderful" the wedding was and how perfect the venue is!! Thank you so very much, Nathan and Dawn, for helping to make my daughter and daughter in law's (yes, this venue is 100% LGBTQ friendly, too!!) wedding spectacular and everything (and more!!) they dreamed about❤❤ ❤

I can't say enough about the venue and staff. The staff were all knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and prompt. The venue was spotless and perfect for everything we did. I highly recommend Whispering Oaks Terrace to anyone looking for a top-notch venue in Southern California.

Living in CA, I was scared we would be priced out of the state as far as venues are concerned. As the bedrock upon which every other wedding decision takes place, it's perhaps the most important piece of the puzzle, and finding one that would fit our small budget AND "us" was going to be no joke.

Then I randomly stumbled upon Whispering Oaks Terrace, and my heart stopped in my chest. I immediately sent the link to my fiance and said "Here's our wedding venue." He immediately agreed.

Only 90 minutes outside our home in LA, we were able to book a place that combines a BEAUTIFUL ceremony area to a GORGEOUS reception area (a huge win for those of us who hate driving from one place to another at others' weddings), AND includes a stunning indoor option in their lovely barn. If you've researched CA venues, you know there's a stunning amount of places that don't include an indoor option for their outdoor option. What happens with inclement weather?! We didn't want to take that chance, and Whispering Oaks Terrace doesn't make you. Even better, they include the use of the indoor option for free. That's right, you don't have to book it separately (which again, a lot of places make you do that!)

You also get to choose and bring all your own vendors. Say bye bye to some overpriced catering partner being forced down your throat!

The place is so naturally beautiful with its two gazebos, grape vines, floral bushes, and winery-meets-rustic barn look, you don't even need to decorate much at all. We spent maybe $140 on fake flower vines and tulle and that represented our colors perfectly. The rest you just don't need to touch. We didn't even use tablecloths because we liked how the wood slats of the tables looked. Even better, since there's an umbrella up over each, we skipped centerpieces and just decorated the pole! Gorgeous!

And at this INSANELY low price for everything you get here, you will not find a better value in CA. I guarantee it.

I am so excited to get married at this venue. The owner, Nathan, has such a great personality and is funny too! He will pretty much let you do anything you want on the property (except have open flame). There are many options as to where you can have the ceremony and reception, including a barn! Nathan will also give you vendors info who have been there that are super affordable. He does not want you to spend more than you have to, so he has tips from seeing other brides get married there in the past. All in all I am very pleased with the service we got there and can't wait to get married here later this year! :)

If you are looking for a rustic venue for a great price, go check out Whispering Oaks Terrace. The venue is gorgeous and has so many opportunities for great photos. You will have the option of getting married in the barn, or outside in a lovely covered patio with gazebo stage. The owners are very friendly. We had our wedding earlier this month and our guest were amazed at how beautiful the venue was, especially with all the lights after dark. I wouldn't recommend using the outside area in the winter months unless you have plenty of heat lamps. We were lucky enough that the weather was absolutely perfect and our guests weren't cold at all after the sun went down. This is a BYO venue, so basically you arrange for your own caterer, flowers, decorations, etc which allows you to save $$ and have tons of options. You are renting the space basically from the owners and then supplying the rest. They do offer a cleanup service as well, which we utilized since we didn't want to come back to wipe down tables, take out trash, etc. Anyhow please check them out!

I had my wedding here about a month ago. It was the most amazing location! The barn was beautiful for our ceremony and the outside reception was gorgeous with all the lights and wine barrels. The staff was fantastic and everyone Nathan referred to us was amazing as well. It was a very good price as well. We had to get all our own venders, but it was definitely better that way. We were able to find great people to help us out. Missy was the most amazing wedding coordinator for the day of! She went above and beyond what I expected and was a lifesaver! We could not have gotten through the day of with out her. Gava D's BBQ was a hit with everyone and we pretty much ran out of food because it was so delicious!!! Faultline music service is the DJ we went with after a mess with another DJ. He was so helpful with everything and extremely professional. He played all the music we wanted and was very affordable. We are so happy to have had our wedding at this beautiful venue! I would recommend it to anyone on a budget or anyone looking to have a beautiful barn or outdoor wedding!
