Trent and Dara were incredible at our remote Utah desert wedding! I cannot recommend them enough. My husband and I are big film photography hobbyists, so we especially appreciated the 9 different cameras (digital and film) that Trent and Dara used over two days for our wedding. What makes this team so unique is their ability to unobtrusively capture the "in the moment" shots, while also providing encouraging direction for portraits and editorial shots. We were pretty nervous about being in front (instead of behind) the camera, but Trent and Dara made us feel incredibly comfortable and confident and captured some epic photos. Several of our guests commented on how wonderful they were and how well they blended in with the vibe of our events. Thank you Dara and Trent! We'll have a hard time not printing a million photos and plastering them across our entire house.

My husband and I worked with Trent and Dara for our engagement shoot and can’t recommend enough. They were attentive and detail oriented with the little things like a hair falling out of place, a necklace clasp clasp falling forward, or our dog not facing the camera, which made all the difference in making sure each shot was perfect. We hired them because we didn’t want cheesy, posed engagement photos, and really wanted authentic, artful candids that captured this special period of our lives that we would be excited to share with future generations--and they delivered! My husband, who is not used to being in front of the camera, particularly appreciated Trent's prompting and cueing that helped him relax on camera, so the photos actually feel like us. Will definitely be booking again for future milestones!

I cannot recommend Trent enough after the wonderful job he did shooting our wedding… in fact I have recommended him to many friends and they all have loved working with him for their weddings!

Trents team goes above and beyond to make everyone in your wedding party feel comfortable, welcome, and at ease. My husband was very uneasy about having photographers follow him around all day and within 2 minutes of meeting Trent and his team he was so happy and comfortable. Dara is the perfect complement to Trent, she was so helpful in ensuring every photo was just right.

They manage to stay “behind the scenes” while getting photos that make them appear front and center. Their team blended in as guests - you wouldn’t have known they were photographers (although the cameras gave it away…)

Trent shared a sneak peak of our photos so quickly, it was amazing to leave on our honeymoon scrolling through his incredible photos. The full digital album was incredible and so easy to use and access.

I absolutely loved the mix of film and digital photos they took - we even had an entire album made of just the film photos because they were so special. We could not have been happier working with Trent and Dara on our wedding day! Every meeting with Trent leading up to the wedding was so enjoyable, and he really kept us organized and on track with a schedule to ensure we captured all of the special moments, and so many more. Looking back on the day it is so hard to envision where Trent & Dara were capturing all these amazing photos, they really blended right into the party! They were so organized and just two incredibly nice and genuine humans. We never had to worry about any “diva personalities” you sometimes encounter when searching for the right wedding vendors!

My husband and I were married in November 2020 (during the height of the pandemic) in upstate New York. One of the best choices we made was picking Trent as our photographer! From the initial consultation with Trent his depth of experience was immediately evident. We had a lot of thoughts about our day, how we wanted it to look and all the things we wanted to do. Trent helped us come up with a realistic plan, and execute it flawlessly on our big day. Trent is the perfect mix of southern charm (he is a total gentleman) and urban artist. Working with Trent and Dara on my wedding day (twice - Covid wedding and big wedding the next year!) was truly incredibly. Not only are they the absolutely best at what they do, they are your therapists, zen buddhas, and pump you up the entire day. They use 5+ different cameras that get the most beautiful and unique shots, while also capturing the classic wedding look you want. Trent’s eye is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and he captures the most special moments that no other photographer would think to shoot. He will go to your venue and seek out the best and most beautiful spots to take photos, and while he truly knows best, he will listen to what YOU want and lets you run the show. You have never seen wedding photos like Trent’s.

I tell my friends who are getting married that there is no other option for photographers than Trent and Dara. I would choose them over and over again - nobody compares. Trent and Dara are the COOLEST, most professional, organized, and talented photographers you will find and it’s truly a waste of time looking elsewhere. They work seamlessly and easily with other vendors and they make the entire process so easy. From our very first meeting with Trent, he made us feel comfortable. He is easygoing, warm, and professional. On the day of our engagement shoot, it rained all morning and he kindly rescheduled it for a few days later, when we ended up having the most beautiful morning light. Neither of us are usually very comfortable in front of a camera, but Trent made the whole process feel natural and fun. We had an intimate civil ceremony on our rooftop in Brooklyn and Trent framed those shots beautifully and made creative suggestions without being pushy. We were thrilled with the photos, which captured the emotions of our special day and surpassed our expectations!

One of my bridesmaid's cousins had used Trent Bailey for her wedding, and they were highly recommended. Based on having a lower budget for my own wedding, we went with the other photographer who works for Trent and Dara, named Mark. I loved how Dara was very responsive to emails when we first started talking and trying to decide on a photographer and she was super friendly and helpful and wanted to know all the details and seemed so excited about my wedding, even when this is what she does all the time, she was still excited about my wedding. Mark was a great photographer, he got all the pictures I wanted of certain people, the flowers, setup of everything, etc, but then he was great at getting the candid pictures where you don't look posed. I personally hate posing for pictures and always think I look awkward in those ones so he was great at getting some amazing pictures while I was just hanging out with my husband or my bridesmaids, etc. We got the pictures back pretty quickly and there were so many it was hard to go through them and pick favorites but I like having the options. Also we were able to download all of the pictures so we can go back to them at any time and do what we want with them. Highly recommend Mark and Trent Bailey!

Trent Bailey and his amazing wife Dara did the most wonderful job with my wedding photos! From the moment we hired them we knew it was the best decision - while they truly are artists, they were still extremely efficient, organized and professional. They went over my timelines with a fine tooth comb, asking all the right questions to make sure everything I wanted was captured and didn't miss a beat.

They spent an entire weekend at my venue, capturing every moment I could have asked for and so much more! Trent always makes the mood so lighthearted and fun, and never pressures you to do anything that makes you uncomfortable. Dara has such a calming presence and was so sweet to have by my side all day. Both of them are so good at working with other vendors, communicating things to the bridal party and maintaining such a calm and pleasant demeanor even in the stressful moments! My venue is 500 acres and they still captured everything!! I don't know how they did it!!

Their unique style of film made my photos look surreal, everyone in my family was in tears when they looked at them! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who want the most gorgeous photos, and want someone they can rely on to work so hard for you on your special day. I learned the value of vendors who really go above and beyond and Trent Bailey is one of the best in the country by far!

It is no accident that Trent Bailey is so highly regarded among NY wedding vendors - he is simply the best!!! I used Trent and his wife Dara for both my engagement pictures and wedding pictures and could not have been happier with the results. When I was looking for a wedding photographer I knew I wanted two things - someone who would make us feel comfortable in front of the camera and someone who would capture moments that truly represented us as a couple rather than just staged/formal portraits. Trent has a keen eye for capturing those special, hidden moments whether its on the dance floor or even during the portrait sessions. Trent and Dara are such sweet people that you can't help but feel comfortable around them, which is so important when you want to capture pictures of you looking your best. The composition of his photographs is absolutely stunning - straight out of a magazine. I had many friends get married before me and I started to feel like all wedding photographs looked the same. Not Trent's!! His photographs are of a superior quality (even to someone like me, who doesn't know a ton about photography) and his ability to capture candid moments makes the photographs so unique and special. I also loved the photographs that came from his black and white camera - it was nice to have a combination of both. As for the wedding day, I had SO many comments about how great Trent and Dara were at arranging the family and wedding party portraits. I have never seen a weeding photographer move so quickly and efficiently while managing to keep everyone relaxed and having a great time! We did all of our pictures after the ceremony which can be rushed at times, but not with Trent and Dara. I honestly can't highly recommend Trent and Dara enough. Picking a wedding photographer is maybe the most important vendor selection you can make - you will have those photos displayed forever - and I couldn't be happier that I found and used the best!!
