Do you provide customary cakes, such as Croquembouche?

Are you licensed by the state health department?

Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?

Our tastings are private and usually take about an hour. You'll sit down in the bakery with Jill (the owner and decorator) and figure out all the details regarding you wedding cake, including flavors, design and anything else you desire!

What are your tasting hours?

Tastings are available Tuesday through Friday at any time of the day. Due to most cakes going out on Saturdays, we are unable to book consultations then.

Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?

Our cakes are priced by the slice. We certainly can appreciate the needs to tight budgeting, so if you have a budget in mind we can almost always work you so that everyone is happy!

Does the price include the top tier of the cake?

Yes, and we actually include in the price of your cake a fresh anniversary cake that we will bake for you on or near your one year anniversary... we don't want you eating year-old, freezer burnt cake on such and important day!

Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?

All of our cakes are custom designed.

What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?

Taste is very important to us, so we use real ingredients like butter and vanilla extract. You will never find a box mix cake, shortening-laden icing, or other yucky stuff.

On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?

The more time that you give us, the better. During peak wedding season, our weekends fill up quickly and we never take on more than we can handle.

How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?

It depends on the weekend.

Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?

Yes, we typically work with the florist to ensure the flowers are appropriate for the cake. We do prefer to arrange the flowers ourselves though, since we're ultimately responsible for the wedding cake.

What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?

We rent out cupcakes stands, since cupcakes are quite popular (and fun).

Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?

We do (and prefer) to deliver wedding cakes.
