Tips and Advice

If when you think of your wedding you focus most on beautiful food with quality beverages and exceptional service, a private dining room could be the perfect space for you.

Because we are a full-service restaurant we have a full-service kitchen. This means fryers, convection ovens, gas ranges, freezers, etc. This equipment and other pieces like them enable us to include delicate items such as pan-seared scallops with foie gras mousse, fried oysters with green peppers sauce, and rack of lamb with fig marmalade. Always wanted an ice cream wedding cake? Love the idea of a fried zucchini blossom starter? We can make that happen.

Our chefs, waiters, housemen, and bartenders are all part of our Melrose Hotel family. They are with us full-time and receive all the benefits of employment with a well-respected hotel management company - Crestline Hotels & Resorts International. These men and women are professionals in the hospitality industry and the level of service you receive will highlight the difference this can make. When they are not working your event they are taking care of the hundreds of guests who stay with us every day.

A private dining room lends itself to Brides & Grooms who don't want to adhere too strictly to the definition of a traditional wedding. Our site lends itself to a musical trio or quartet, a toast before dinner while guests are gathered on the patio for cocktails, and then a multi-course meal that you or your guests won't soon forget. A wedding elegant in its simplicity, and above all, delicious.
