I  am an award winning artist from Raleigh, North Carolina. I learned to draw and paint during my childhood. As an adult, I have been painting for last few years. I paint in Oils and Watercolors.
 
I love painting live weddings & events in watercolors! I am passionate about capturing the beauty and essence of someone's special day. My aim as an artist is to observe what is happening around me and turn it into work of art that the couple will treasure forever. This is a unique service for your special day! I can paint ceremony and reception. I start painting ceremony an hour before it starts. I continue to paint as the ceremony takes place. It takes me about 30 minutes after the ceremony to complete the painting. I mat and frame the painting and it is ready for display at the reception! This has pleasently surprised many brides and brought tears to eyes of friends and family.

I accept studio commissions for portraits and wedding paintings. Those can be done in oils or watercolors.

I am a member of Cary Gallery of Artists. My work is on the display at many local venues. I have won awards for my work and in 2009, my painting was juried into Raleigh Fine Arts Society's prestigious North Carolina Artists Exhibition.

I am also a professional photographer: when I am not painting, I am photographing weddings. I bring my artistic vision to photography. My wife and I own IWP Photography (www.iwpphotogra[hy.com). I am at home with both paints and pixels!
