I am so incredibly happy that I hired Chris for my wedding! He was so much fun to work with and went above and beyond to make our wedding the best day of our lives! I hired Chris because of his perfect reviews online and because he has a Portuguese background. My family is Portuguese and I wanted a DJ who would make them feel included. He did absolutely that! My husband and I were so impressed by Chris’ professionalism, organization, attention to detail, communication, and of course, talent! He met with us several times before the wedding over the span of a year and half to get to know us and our music preferences. And OMG all of those meetings and the homework he gave us was SO worth it! His song choices were so on point! I never wanted to leave the dance floor and even told my photographer that I no longer wanted late night pictures because I just wanted to dance the night away. At the beginning of the night, not many people were dancing because it was beautiful weather and we had 2 patios with extra activities for people to do. Once I convinced all of our friends to return to the dance floor, Chris paid attention to who was dancing and chose the perfect songs to keep everyone on the dance floor for the rest of the night. He was so good at reading the room!!! You can tell that Chris has so much knowledge, experience and skill as a DJ. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. My friends even said that they were mad at themselves for not dancing more at the beginning of the night because they were so impressed. I honestly may throw an anniversary party at some point just so I can hire Chris again. I can’t thank you enough Chris! You are amazing at what you do!

Chris was our DJ at our wedding in Newport, RI in June 2021, and let me tell you he did NOT disappoint! He was super detail-oriented leading up to the day, making us feel extremely comfortable and like we were in excellent hands. He also just felt like someone we'd want to hang out with, which made it all the more fun. On the day of, he kept right with our vibe and kept everybody having a good time, young and old! He even had a few surprises up his sleeve throughout the night, which made it extra special. Chris was all class. He (and his photographer wife, Nellie) made the evening. His music and the manner in which he directed the evening kept our guest engaged from beginning to end. Absolutely thoughtful worth it and more.

Chris does an amazing job. He is super flexible with how you can meet with him- we had to use FaceTime and phone calls because we live in CT and planned a wedding in RI. He gave us homework that got us thinking, offers playlists to help you brainstorm your own custom list of must have songs. Something I lend to friends as advice now is something Chris asked us for which was 3 specific songs - I’ll let him explain. Long story short our family and friends went wild from the second he started the music and were angry when we had to leave the venue and the wedding was over. We danced nonstop. He feels out the crowd and makes his moves based on the vibes. You won’t be disappointed!!

Where do we begin with Chris! First, he made us feel at ease with the whole process. He gave us a lot of good recommendations on songs for our wedding day and he made the process less stressful. He’s very knowledgeable about what songs will get the crowd moving. He’s also very knowledgeable on lighting for the specific venue. He told us exactly what lighting will work best for our venue and it was absolutely beautiful!! Chris killed it on our wedding day!! I couldn’t believe how literally all the guests were on the dance floor and the guests ranged from kids to older folks. They all had a blast!! Everyone, including myself and my husband, was dancing the night away and it made me so happy to see!! Also, the lighting was just amazing and unlike anything I’ve seen at other weddings I’ve been to. I thought it was so unique. Also, after my husband and I walked out into the reception, Chris invited all our guests to dance with us on our intro song which was super unique!! The day after our wedding we had a brunch with our friends and family and they couldn’t stop talking about how great Chris was and how they hadn’t danced like that in a very long time!! If you’re getting married you need to book Chris ASAP!!! You’re not going to regret it!!

What can I say about Chris Saraiva other than he's FANTASTIC! My husband and I felt so comfortable with him from Day One! He is professional and funny at the same time. He guided us throughout the entire process and was there to answer any questions we had. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Everyone loved him and the music he plays, he plays to make sure everyone in the room feels involved and incorporated. I have been to many weddings where they play music in a certain genre...where some people love it, while others in the room hate it or are uncomfortable. Chris knows exactly how to play the crowd and get the party started. He wasn't only apart of our wedding day, but the entire process along side his wonderful wife (our photographer) Nelly Saraiva. He made my husband and I feel even more comfortable during our Engagement session...always trying to bring humor into it, because they could tell we were nervous. I think mostly it was me that was nervous. He made it easier for me than I could have imagined, when it came down to picking our music selection. If you're looking for a professional DJ that knows how to bring the life to the party and keep it going all night long, then look no further than Chris Saraiva!!!

Chris was absolutely amazing! From ceremony to the final songs at the reception, the whole day felt so personal and customized to our tastes and personalities. Chris did an amazing job of reading the room, getting people up and dancing, and making sure each event went smoothly and was appreciated by all. No moment or detail was lost and everyone had a phenomenal time! Chris took the time to get to know us and truly made the day feel like ours. As performing arts teachers and directors we can be very particular about music...not to mention all of the traditional Greek music we needed for the Greek part of our family! Chris blended all of our needs and requests perfectly into the evening. We could not have been more pleased - he made our special day a dream come true!

We can't put into words, how great Chris was at not only our wedding, but through the whole planning process. Talk about someone that truly cares about his clients! We had our wedding at Aldrich Mansion at the beginning of September, and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. Chris brought so much energy and you could tell throughout the whole day & night that he had everyone engaged the entire reception. We have received so many compliments from our guests that it was one of the best weddings they have been to. 

On top of being a fantastic DJ and host for our wedding, Chris was so calm whenever he was speaking with us throughout the day, which was exactly what we needed during all the chaos brought on by a wedding! It was great to have a vendor at our wedding that feels like a friend you have known for 10 years! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Chris!

Chris was a true professional from start to finish. I felt as though we were in expert hands during the whole planning process.
