Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?
We offer tastings, where you can come in and taste our cake and look at our albums. We also offer appointments, where you can sit down with Sophie, taste our cakes, and write up your wedding cake contract.
What are your tasting hours?
Tastings and appointments are by appointment, you can call 830-997-5873 to schedule your tasting or appointment.
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
Pricing is by the slice and the price depends on the design of the cake.
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
The top teir of the cake is complementary.
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
We have albums with pictures of cake designs we have already done and we are always open to new ideas and designs. We will make the cakes to satisfy your unique ideas and design.
What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?
All of our cakes are made from scratch and our recipes have beeen through 20 years of perfection.
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
We can work with your florist to accomodate the flowers you would like to adorn your wedding cake.
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
We have a variety of cake stands. Cake stand rental comes with the cake, all we ask is that you give us a cake stand deposit check while the stands are in your posession and we will hand you back your deposit when you return the stands to us after the wedding.
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
We deliver cakes, it is $1.25 a mile both ways to any location outside of Fredericksburg.
